"Renovate was excellent from start to finish. They efficiently removed an old carport, deck and storage room, and with expertise installed new siding and windows on the side of the house. The crew was professional throughout the project."

"Great company to work with! We have recently decided to remodel our kitchen and master bathroom, replace our aging roof, and do a few touch-ups around the house, so we have looked for a general contractor that can handle this project. After meeting with a few contractors, we have decided on Go Far Construction LLC. They had a lot of good referrals and reviews, and now it is very easy to see why! The various teams that worked on my house were made up of a bunch of very capable and dedicated, hard-working people. Thank you all for your extraordinary work and attention to detail. I would really recommend you!"

We can finish our basement and actually use the space now! Thanks for being so easy to work with and delivering a quality drain system."

"2 workers, pleasant manor, very professional, pride in performing a very perfectly leveled entrance. Concrete came up 2 inches on South side, and 2 inches at wood steps. We have carpenters adding Trex and handrails and excited to repaint the trim on the house."

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

On average, a mudjacking repair lasts between five and 10 years, though it can sometimes last for well beyond a decade under ideal conditions. Its longevity depends heavily on several factors, including the condition of the underlying soil, environmental conditions like freeze/thaw cycles and erosion, and whether the root cause of the sinking, such as drainage issues, is resolved. Because it doesn't always fix the underlying problem of loose soil, mudjacking is often considered a temporary solution. Proper maintenance and evaluation can help extend its lifespan.

Costs range from $500 to $1,500, depending on the size and condition of the area.

The timeframe is generally a few hours, allowing for immediate use post-hydration, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding activities.

Trenching and boring are two distinct methods for installing underground utilities. Trenching involves digging a channel using equipment like an excavator, trencher, backhoe, or shovel. While it is a simpler process, it causes significant disruption to the surface, landscaping, and surrounding ecosystems.

Boring, also known as directional boring, is a less invasive alternative that uses a drill to create a tunnel for utility lines without disturbing the surface. This method is more precise and is ideal for installations that need to go underneath buildings, roads, or bodies of water. Although boring is less disruptive, it is generally more expensive than trenching.

Concrete leveling can last anywhere from five to 10 years or more, and in some cases, it can be a permanent solution. The longevity depends on the method used and whether the underlying cause of the sinking is addressed. For example, mudjacking typically lasts five to 10 years, while polyjacking can last for 20 years or more. It's best to consult a professional for an accurate timeline based on your specific situation and any factors that could cause the issue to recur.
