"We've owned several homes and had painting done by various contractors over the years. This was our best experience to date. Scott Tenhulzen did our bid and was very thorough. The price quoted was reasonable. We weren't looking for the cheapest bid -- we wanted a quality job for a fair price, and that's exactly what we got. The crew arrived on time every day, took great care to protect our home and was meticulous in the preparation work. This included sanding and scraping layers of old questionable-quality paint from the millwork and then filling defects with putty and re-sanding. The painting was completed on the agreed upon schedule. After completion, Scott scheduled a walk through with himself and his crew. In preparation, we marked any areas we thought needed attention with blue painter's tape. The job looked so good that we thought we might be getting overly picky. Imagine our surprise when Scott and crew arrived and looked the job over and Scott added MORE painter's tape on defects so minor we hadn't even noticed them.
