They have delivered a new granite fireplace hearth they measured cut installed and modified the new mantel to fit perfectly, 5 vanity tops at both our primary residence and a vacation home and a wet bar counter top. Most recently we needed new splash guard for a vanity that was damaged during a renovation because of water damage to the bathroom. Glen found a matching piece had it cut and polished in under an hour. Cant say enough good about them."

We specialize in Solid Wood cabinet refacing. No veneers or laminates, but rather 1/4 inch thick solid wood refacing, and custom built solid wood cabinet doors. We also custom build additional cabinetry, and add convenience items such as new drawers, sliding shelves etc. We also fabricate and install custom quartz countertops. All work is completed by our own employees, not subcontractors, and we guarantee our work and your satisfaction. We offer free in-home design and estimate appointments.

"Summary: The entire experience was excellent. Good communication throughout the process, and they did exactly what they said. They did the demolition on the cabinets, countertop, and backsplash, refaced some existing cabinets, and added a lot of custom cabinetry, along with a quartz countertop. The price was under 1/2 of what several other companies quoted. Price: They charged us under half of what some other companies quoted. However, it's not quite apples to apples, because those other companies folded in everything (plumbing, electrical, etc). I did some prep work myself to demo the existing island, and arranged the plumber and electrician myself. I ended up saving over $20k all told. What they do: They removed existing cabinets based on our contract, removed the existing tile backsplash and repaired the dry wall so that it was "tile ready". They installed custom cabinets (much higher quality than the existing boxes), faced all the cabinets to make the transitions from older boxes to new ones undetectable, added the new island and countertop. They replaced all doors with soft close hinges, and all of the new drawers also have soft close slides. The new cabinetry is very well made, real wood boxes, and high quality materials. What I did: before they came out, I took out the existing island. I also arranged for plumbing and electrical, as needed, and repaired the floor around the new island. After they left, I tiled the backsplash, installed the open shelving, and put soft close drawer slides in the old drawers to match the new ones. Timeline: Once we put down our deposit, we waited just about 5 months, which was a bummer. But once they started, they were true to their word and were done within 8 days. Results: We ended up with a really nice kitchen. The layout makes a lot more sense, and we essentially doubled the amount of usable counterspace. The cabinets and drawers are all soft close, and while we did put in some open shelves, we ended up netting about the same amount of cabinet storage with the addition of the new lowers along the wall and the much larger island. Other odd notes: We have two cats and two giant dogs, and needed access to the kitchen space during the remodel. They were really good about keeping doors closed and keeping the area tidy at the end of each work day. We planned to not use the kitchen during the remodel, but they did indicate that they would work with us if we had to."

Quartz is one of the best countertop materials because it strikes a great balance between durability, aesthetics, and cost. Quartz is more affordable than materials like granite or marble, and it lasts longer and resists damage better than just about any other material, including laminate, concrete, wood, marble, and even granite. Many homeowners prefer the appearance of a more natural granite or marble countertop, though, and while both of these materials tend to be more expensive, their desirable appearance might make them a better option for your home.

The easiest way to calculate a countertop's square footage is to divide your countertop into squares and rectangles, then multiply the length and the width of each piece in inches before adding them together and dividing by 144.

Every durable material has a few downsides, including quartz. First, it is heat resistant but not heatproof, meaning it can't withstand broiling hot pots and pans. The material can also discolor from long-term exposure to sunlight. Additionally, it is more expensive than many natural stone options and lacks the unique veining and patterns that come with materials like marble or granite.

Onyx countertops have pros and cons. If you seal it properly and take care not to damage it, it can make a good countertop surface. However, it's more often used in bathrooms, where it’s less likely to sustain damage. Having an onyx kitchen countertop is possible, but you’ll need to take extra care not to burn, stain, or otherwise damage the material.

Corian tends to be slightly cheaper than granite when used in fixtures like kitchen countertops. However, the price difference is fairly negligible and largely depends on the type of granite you choose. Corian can be a budget-friendly and durable choice, plus it doesn’t require as much regular maintenance, which keeps long-term costs down.
