Our yard looked better after then it did prior to him cutting the tree due to the clean up he did after the tree was cut. Very professional would hire him again! "

Mark is the trapeze artist who climbs to the top of the trees to cut them in sections, being precisely careful as to where it lands so as to not harm stonewalls and nearby plants. Caleb worked hard trimming and cleaning up on the ground. Their price compares or beats all others too. Both of them are true gentleman and we would hire them again in a minute!"

Aardvark is a small business, locally owned and operated servicing all of Nothern Vermont. We specialize in hazerdous tree removal, and commercial and residential excavation. We keep it small with only 2 full time empoloyees and 2 part time. We will occaisionally use subcontractors for heavy trucking and crane work. We are a LLC in the state of vermont and are currently in "good standing" with the state. Angie's list customers will recieve a 5% discount on all bids. We look foreward to hearing from you!

You should not trim an oak tree in the summer. Oak trees are especially susceptible to disease, and open tree wounds are an invitation for beetles that carry tree-killing fungus. Any more, and the safety risk becomes too high, which could lead to catastrophe. For this job, it’s safest to let a tree-trimming professional assess the work needed.

Whether you grind or dig up and remove your tree stump depends on your landscaping goals. Using a stump grinder leaves the root system in place for it to decompose over time, whereas digging up the tree stump removes the roots and the stump. Overall, stump grinding is a far simpler process since you won’t need to deal with the roots. Stump removal will make your yard look like a demolition site, but you’ll have an easier time replanting in the same place as your former tree.

Tree trimming can count as landscaping, depending on how a landscaping business describes its services. Professional tree trimmers are more specialized than landscapers and offer trimming services separately from general landscaping.

When general landscaping companies offer tree trimming, look up the details. They usually mean shaping or seasonal trimming of ornamental trees, which is different from trimming larger trees for health or safety reasons. When possible, look for a licensed expert that specializes in trees and tree health.
