"Kody and his crew efficiently cut up 3 downed trees, stacked the big wood, and chipped the small wood so we can use it for mulch. I also had them do a small ditch diggings project that I needed done and they carted the dirt to a place where I needed some fill. Their price was very reasonable and they responded quickly and did the work within 2 days after giving me the estimate. It only took them a few hours - would have taken me weeks!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Trees that flower in the spring—like dogwood, cherry, magnolia, and pear—should not be pruned during the winter. These spring-flowering plants grow buds on old growth, so you’ll actually remove what would’ve been gorgeous flowering foliage. Instead, wait to prune until right after they bloom, when the flowers fade.

Some trees will bounce back just fine, and others will struggle and possibly die. Evergreens, for instance, have a very difficult time recovering after droughts and usually die after periods of extreme dryness. Usually, you’ll have to just wait and see—if the drought occurs in wintertime, it’s possible that your tree will recover during the gentler springtime.

Permits are often required for large tree removals, especially in urban areas or for protected species, ensuring regulation compliance and neighbor safety.

Trees should be pruned every two to five years, depending on its age and type. Young trees should be inspected and pruned every two to three years. Mature trees should be inspected and trimmed every three to five years, and fruit trees should be pruned annually with a careful eye on seasonal growth. Evergreens typically don’t need pruning, unless branches or limbs are damaged, diseased, or harboring pests.

Although it’s possible, heavy machinery like a crane is necessary for removing an entire tree stump and all. This procedure is extremely costly, time-consuming, and usually unnecessary, as there are plenty of convenient and affordable stump removal options.

Your best bet, if you want to be sure to remove a tree and its stump efficiently, is to speak with a professional. They’ll be able to walk you through the entire process.
