Just before the roofing was started we had the house painted and they took pains not to cause any damage to the walls by covering the area where they were working.Because we have a flat area near the entrance, they put in standing seam metal roofing to aid with ice dams,etc. They worked this in beautifully with the shingles and it just flows evenly to the viewer.
