"I had asked another contractor to repair a hole in my barn wall and was in a hurry due to a preset meeting with a realtor about my property. He misunderstood the level of work and took the wall down. His estimate for replacing the wall was more than I was prepared to pay. I called Mr. Mom (Alan) to get an estimate on repairing the wall. I had read about his experience with interior painting on Angie's List and also asked for a quote on a few places in my home. He came to my house soon after I spoke with him (same day) and within a few hours had emailed me very professional quotes on several projects in my house. He understood my timeline and started work on a Saturday in order to get it completed on time. He worked until very late on Saturday and the following Monday, finishing everything within plenty of time for my meeting. He and his co-workers were professional and pleasant. They were neat and did an excellent job! He went a bit over with materials - which I would have gladly paid the difference for - but he took it off the labor part of the invoice.
