I felt like I was providing advice on how to run a business, and he wasn't able to make any recommendations about the project. The final straw was the posts he put in weren't secure or safe. I had to spend more money to find someone that would take over and finish the project and redo what had been done. I will say he was polite, and even admitted to being in over his head on a basic deck."

"I gave Xpro Remodeling a 50% deposit of $1,600 to start a job. They agreed to start in late August, and then took on another job, trying to push my work out two months. I asked for a refund and/or the possibility to bump me in earlier as I was having a tenant move in and she did not want work done in the house while she lived there. I ended up losing a month's rent, and then they did not start the job two months later. They cited that they could keep my deposit because I signed a non-refundable contract. They are the one's who breached the contract, and they think that they can legally and ethically keep my deposit. They were totally inflexibile and unethical and I am taking them to small claims court to recoup my deposit."

No, you should only choose high-quality wood to build your sauna. Not all types of woods can withstand the pressure from heat or moisture. Only use softwoods, such as cedar and aspen, that are known for absorbing heat and resisting water.

It will take several hours or more to build a sauna. A prefab kit will take anywhere from three to 20 hours to install, depending on complexity and your skill level. A steam shower goes in place of an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and functions as both a shower and a source of steam (at around 110 F). For any humidity-haters, saunas are enclosed spaces that can be put anywhere in the house and produce dry heat. That means they use electricity to power the heat rather than water to create steam.

The major difference between a steam shower and a sauna is that a sauna generates dry heat and a steam shower generates heat from steam, creating nearly 100% humidity. Because of the moisture involved, a steam shower can feel as warm as a sauna even though its temperature is lower, between 90 and 120 degrees.
