"Andrew came highly recommended. I contacted him for a leaking sink. Before he came over he requested detailed information and a phone photograph. This had three purposes: (1) it allowed him to diagnose the problem; (2) it saved him (and me!) a preliminary visit to assess the situation; and (3) on the basis of the above he gave me a cost estimate. Next thing, he came over, fixed the problem in one single visit. the work was done promptly and efficiently. Andy billed me (the amount of the estimate) and I paid promptly. Thank you, Andy. "Diego and his crew are amazing! Punctual, fair price and just a great job all around. I even had other contractors come through who commented on what a great job they did. At one point we were on a very tight timeline and needed the remaining plaster installed before the floors went in. Diego’s crew worked late on a Saturday to make sure it was done. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
