"All went well. The team was very efficient and worked continuously. They cleaned everything and were respectful of my property. As far as the mold abatement it is too soon to determine how well it worked but by the detailed estimate that Nu-Life provided, the abatement worked seemed to be a best practice for this kind of work. I would re-hire Nu-Life and would recomend them to anyone needing this type of work. An A+++ contractor."

"Prompt response… very professional! I have been without a sink for two weeks, called a few companies and no follow up.. Tejadas was able to fit me in right away.. they were at my home on time and did a great job cutting my granite countertop and positioned my sink to get installed by the plumber… I would definitely hire them again for any future jobs"

Small jobs welcome

"Joshua is a pleasant professional, well mannered young man. Who shows up on time and ready to work. He pays close attention to what is being requested of him and he is very detailed oriented.. This is the 2nd time I have hired Joshua for my outside projects. He does an amazing job. He mowed my lawn front and back while providing clean edges… He trimmed my shrubs, pulled massive weeds and he cleaned it all up by putting everything in lawn bags. He also set the bags out to the curb for city pickup. My property was clean beautiful and free of grass & shrub debris. I would definitely recommend him for your projects. I will be calling him again for fall cleanup/trim and for other odd jobs on the inside as well.. Lastly, but most importantly his prices are reasonable & he does not disappoint!"

Biohazard Remediation questions, answered by experts

If there is only a small mold problem, then you might be able to remove it and save the kitchen cabinets by acting fast. However, if the mold is severe, has spread to other parts of your kitchen or home, or is impacting sensitive family members, then you should replace the cabinets. A kitchen cabinet installation costs between $2,000 and $11,100, or $6,400 on average.

Some mold can look like dust, but most doesn’t. Powdery mildew is often confused with dust as it’s a similar color and grows in a similar way. Some gray molds can look like dust as well, but usually, it’s pretty easy to spot the difference. It’s better to be safe, so if you aren’t completely sure what you’re seeing is dust, call a mold professional to check it out.

Painting over mold is not an effective solution and can actually make the problem worse. Instead, it traps moisture, which allows mold to grow and spread beneath the surface. Mold must be completely removed before painting to ensure the problem doesn’t recur. If mold is painted over, it may eventually seep through the new layer of paint, causing discoloration and peeling.

Using vinegar on moldy wood overnight can be an effective method for combatting stubborn mold infestations. This approach allows the vinegar ample time to penetrate and break down the mold. First, test a small, unnoticeable area to verify that the vinegar won't harm the wood's finish or color. Adequate ventilation is crucial to avoid a buildup of vinegar fumes.

To get rid of white mold, it's crucial to wear protective clothing, including a mask, gloves, and goggles, to avoid exposure. Begin by isolating the affected area and ensuring good ventilation. Clean hard surfaces with a mixture of water and detergent, scrubbing thoroughly. For absorbent materials like drywall or ceiling tiles, it may be necessary to remove and replace the contaminated sections. After cleaning, use a dehumidifier to reduce moisture levels, preventing mold regrowth.
