"This work was done during the peak of the Covid Pandemic causing many delays. Typically work is completed in one day and the price is usually as quoted. Materials were delayed several times due to manufacturing issues caused by Covid for which the client was well aware. There were extensive issues with the under-slab soil and a high underground water table that the customer also did not mention in her review. These underground issues cause several problems with the radon mitigation process creating all the budget and timing issues. Of the 4500 or so radon mitigation systems I have installed this was the worst underground issue I ever had. Because of the finished basement, we could not install the preferred alternative mitigation system and that is why more than one system had to be installed. I stayed with the job until I had very low post-mitigation radon levels. I kept the customer informed throughout the entire process and did not bill for many hours of research and engineering time. I just receive payment and the client has demanded a receipt within 24 hrs. I informed the client I would send a receipt once the payment has cleared."
"Leaking water was existing when I showed up to do the job and was pointed out to the homeowner. All required control valves were installed during my system installation. No excessive water pressure was detected and no additional volume control was needed. Most clients appreciate some improved water pressure. Radon in water level was reduced from 11,000 pCi/L down to 350 pCi/L. The work was done clean, neat, on schedule and at the quoted price. The mitigation unit was even moved outside the boiler room at no additional cost to the homeowner. I've been plumbing for 30 years and have 100's of references of happy past customers...Joel"
