"I own an 90-year old historic colonial high school turned into a bed & breakfast. The windows were neglected over the past 20-30 years and in serious demand of work. Modern day window contractors were not going to understand this job. It's very difficult to find a contractor that will come through on a promise and has the skill to do as they boast. The day that Grady stepped into my 90 year-old home that needed historic window restoration, he became a part of the house. He knew exactly what had to be done. More importantly, he understood my expectations. These windows needed special attention. There was a level of detail required that not any expert would be able to handle. Grady took the time to learn their needs and stayed on the job until it was to my satisfaction. He even reworked an entire window just because I didn't like the way that it looked. "COVID added significant technical challenges, but the original quote lacked $275 for painting the door, so that was added in after. There were a couple of misfires on the installation (e.g. wrong door brought on installation day) and the process took more than 6 months from initial inquiry to final installation (not a swift and agile organization--quite a few layers of bureaucracy). The price was on the high side ($4k for one sliding glass door), but all good in the end."
