  • Ramsey Son Builders
Our overall experience was less stressful with their expert advice on ideas from detail to kitchen lay out. They always pointed us in the right direction but left the overall decision to us. They were very honest and fair to work with and kept our cost as low as possible. Building a house is a big under taking, but they certainly made the process easier
  • DBB Inc - Design By Brian
Brian was professional, punctual, skilled, and polite. He has an appreciation for older homes and updating them without compromising their integrity. We were extremely happy with everything Brian did for us and will definitely call him again.

  • Herr & Company Building Contractors
I was very happy with the entire experience, and would DEFINITELY recommend Herr & Co.for all your building and construction needs. I was so impressed with Jim and Mike - they both went out of their way to make the job run as smoothly and efficiently as possible, under almost impossible time constraints. Talk about grace under pressure

I was very satisfied with him. If he says black is white, it is white. He is spectacular. I am still friends with him. I will use him again in the future if I have to.

  • E Heatwole Construction LLC
Ed Heatwole is excellent contractor! He took our ideas, offered suggestions if he had better way to do something and finished the work beyond our expectations. He finished under budget and we are totally satisfied. Ed is one you can totally trust. We would recommend him to anyone needing renovation or new construction. We had some new products we wanted used in our construction. He adapted to the new ideas and handled them. Ed did interior renovations: moving walls, moving doors, interior window and door trim. He added a pantry and utility room into our over sized garage. The subs he brought in to work on the house were very good as well. They were experienced, did the work as agreed upon - or better. These were roofing, plumbing, drywall, masonry work, excavating and guttering. He has a very good list of subs from which to draw and they were professional and courteous. He added a large screened in porch with pediment roof. He used a new "invisible screening" product. He added a deck off the porch and a balcony off our master bedroom. We think he is a contractor's version of a Boy Scout (Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Cheerful, Thrifty, Reverent). The figure of $58,000 paid to Ed Heatwole does not include monies paid directly to sub contractors, nor for items purchased directly. We consider Ed Heatwole a good friend

Earl installed two storm doors and a french door inside the house. He had to cut the latter into a non-bearing wall. I have a very non-traditional house, and he was meticulous in figuring out what needed to be done, executing the job, and finishing it well. He left the site very clean after work each day, and did a fantastic job. Dealing with Angie in scheduling the job was a pleasure. She is professional, detail oriented, and responsive. I had an incredibly positive experience and would highly recommend Blue Ridge Construction

I did research on several contractors, on the Internet and word of mouth. Word of mouth is the best way to go. After a few months of going back and forth with estimates we decided to go with Marshall. They were not the cheapest construction company, but they have the best quality for a reasonable price. We went over options and through the process they very flexible. When we needed to modify the house to fit our budget they did. They started the beginning of March and finished mid August. Again we did do a lot of modifications that slowed down construction and had several weather delays

  • Three B Builders & Construction
The builder worked with us from start to finish - listening to our wants for a house plan - to drawing them up and even making changes on site to suit our needs.

  • Weaver Built Home
We were extremely pleased with the excellent craftsmanship in our 3,000 square foot house constructed of ?insulated concrete forms? (ICF), an energy efficient product. This is not lightly said as my husband, who has engineering and building experience, is very hard to please. Marvin worked with us every step of the way to build our house exactly the way we wanted it. Subcontractors love working with him because he treats them with respect and pays on time, so consequently he gets the best workers. Because of his extensive experience and relationships he has built up, he is able to get the best price on high quality products from his suppliers. And he has great ideas ? whenever I asked him ?what he would do,? he would come up with good suggestions. He also suggested changes that would not affect quality but would be more efficient and less costl
