Best subcontractors near Stuarts Draft, VA

"A Service I hired them for my store and now they will start with my house. The boss is on top of his employees... that is the key to be successful, always! His office manager was super nice and helpful always!"

"Randy Hudson did a great job of repairing/replacing a rotted deck post on my dad?s deck.  He was very good at assessing the damage and work necessary to correct the problem.  He was good about explaining the process to us so everyone understood what was to be expected.  Randy was very friendly and completed the work as planned and scheduled.  He also did a great job of installing new lattice for the deck skirting as part of the project.  I thought the price charged was fair and reasonable and we have asked him to give us an estimate to pressure wash and paint the deck and other house trim.

"Freddie and JR did an excellent job on the project. They also took time to inspect the roof and are working up an estimate. Both Freddie and JR were very courteous and professional and I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for handyman service or roof replacement/repair."

"We hired Frank and his crew to do a complete studs-out kitchen remodel. Couple days after our initial meeting Frank came up with a kitchen design that turned out to be fantastic. Removed two walls, complete new lay out, a complete open concept. Frank and DIY made the entire process very easy and seamless for us. We decided to have the remodel done while we were traveling overseas, not without some hesitation. A contractor friend of mine told me we were crazy to have the job going when we were not there to check on it, but we decided to take a chance. As it turned out, it worked out great--Frank kept the job moving along and sent us pictures of the progress, and we returned to an almost-finished kitchen. The quality of the work and attention to detail was excellent. The team was conscientious about confirming the details with us before each portion of the job, making sure that each decision was agreed upon, and were clearly careful in their work. Frank's crew and subcontractors (electrician) were friendly and pleasant to have in our home. We decided last-minute to refinish all the floors in the house during the project, and asked Frank if he could book movers as we were overseas. Rather than hire movers Frank's crew packed up our entire house themselves, moved it to the garage, then moved it back (just in time for our return!). I thought for sure something would get broken but everything made it back upstairs in perfect condition. They even set out my son's toys for him to find when we got home--which was much appreciated by a jet-lagged preschooler. It was a small thing but showed the care and respect the crew have for their clients. I would not hesitate to use Frank and DIY Kitchens again or to recommend them to anyone."

"Amazing! Great workers and got the job done fast and efficiently. Very happy with my new floors. Highly recommend 10/10"

"It went very, very well. Mr. Wayland was polite, professional and very personable. He showed great knowledge in all areas
regarding the different projects .He did an outstanding job with everything. He was very tidy and conscientious. Very reasonable
in his prices. I am now going to contract him to stain and repair my deck and build  wood siding around my chimney, I know it will
look great !"

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"Quick responses, job completed in timely matter. Very pleased."

"The man I talked to was very professional and timely. However, he explained that this particular job was beyond the scope of what their company does. I would certainly use them on another 'issue'.

"The crew that was sent out to replace roof was good.  However, very disappointed in the professionism of the owner.  I know there were some personal issues going on at the time but the way "we" the clients were handle was not professional.  I can't recommend this company. A project that should have take only a couple of days was draw out into months.  Work was only completed and not really to my liking after lots of emails and voice mails."
