" The kitchen  was demolished. Removed bulkheads, pantry and cabinet and counter removal. Removed Ceiling and rewired for recessed lighting and under cabinet lighting. Installed and painted new ceiling. Installed an extra circuit for the microwave. Removed several layers of old flooring. Repaired subflooring. Installed new cement board in preparation for porcelain tiles. Laid tiles , installed cabinetry with lighting. Customized some of the cabinetry to adjust to designing needs. Installed custom designed Glass cabinet doors, interior lighting, and glass shelves for one cabinet. Installed granite counter, granite window sill, double sink, Soap dispencer, designer faucet, and special ordered backsplash with stone and glass inserts. Installed tiles and design above the kitchen window. Installed Stainless knobs and pulls on cabinets. Installed 2 slide out spice racks in 2 cabinets. Installed slide out double trash cans under peninsula. Installed 5 inch floor molding, painted the molding.  Installed extra shelves for some cabinets. Installed ceiling moldings.
Flooring was completed for kitchen ,bathroom, closet, and foyer.
The contractors were able to adjust their schedules to accomodate stops and starts when we had to leave town several times.
