We have used Premier Floors in the past for remodeling to repair water damage (flooring, drywall, painting) and to paint bedrooms. They do excellent work and have reasonable prices. Fred is very customer focused and strives to ensure the customer is happy with the work. In this particular case, Fred helped us out with a small tile repair job that was not part of the original work. We definitely recommend Premier Floors.

The grout work was done in one day and the painting was done in two days. Everything went very well, was done very professionally and looks great. The workers showed up on time, were very courteous, and helped move some of the items out of the bedrooms. The work crew covered everything else nicely and did an excellent job cleaning up at the end of the day. Even though it was a small job Fred treated us as if it were a much larger job. I highly recommend Premier Floors in Sterling.

Started very well - good responsiveness and suggestions. Lower floor was good quality at a fair price and installation was good (although some wrinkles remain). Upper floor was not well done: carpet was not the quality expected, and many wrinkles remain - installation was rushed. Promised follow-up never happened. Tom disappeared and has not returned phone calls for over 2 weeks to discuss. Very disappointing conclusion to what started out as a good experience - still hopeful for a better resolution. An A- on the lower floor and a C- on the upper floor.

Fred and his father-in-law were terrific to work with and the workers did an excellent job with top quality work. We really appreciated the time Fred and his father-in-law took to explain various options for materials (particularly flooring) and what work would be accomplished. Fred's philosophy all along was to make us happy with the job and he did. He even agreed to do a couple little extras without additional charge that weren't on the original task such as putting a small decorative tile on the wall and doing some additional repair/paint on a basement wall. Toward the end of the job there were some hiccups with scheduling and showing up on time, but a call or e-mail to Fred had everything resolved. The quality of the work was everything we hoped for though; Fred's workers took their time to do the job right.

The provider was on time, the installers were great, cleaned up after the job was done, vacuumed including the baseboards. I had a problem with water from the upstairs condo which caused sections of my flooring to be damaged. They came back and repaired it and remembered what I had ordered. It matched perfectly and you cannot tell where the damaged occurred. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great flooring place.

Kevin worked very closely with us in selecting product and colors for the hardwood, carpet, and paint.  There are so many products and options to choose from, it can be overwhelming.  Kevin was so helpful and provided us with outstanding choices in products and options.  He helped with what was the best value and most appropriate for our application.  Each change we had was met with honest options and advise.  He never tried to take advantage of us when we changed our design.
The ground floor hardwood is a new product that is on slab and very durable.  It is a near exact color match to our 18 year old hardwood on the other floors.  Despite being new, it looks like it was original.  Demo took a day and install just under a day.
Carpet replacement was on the upper 2 floors.  Removal and install was done in less than a day.  Outstanding workmanship.  Our replacement included stair runners that came out perfect.
Interior painting (was completed before the carpet and hardwood replacements), was done over 2 weeks.  This included prep, drywall repairs, and 2 tone paint.  Kevin recommended bright white for the ceiling and trim and a lite gray for the walls.  The contrast between the two is just breathtaking.  He made color selection so easy.
Kevin is very easy to work with and did many things to help us and ensure that our project was successful.  We are very happy with the work that Premier Floors did for us and would use them again!

We worked with Kevin Salek whom we originally met at a home show. Over a two week period, we worked out what we wanted and a price. We had to negotiate carefully and make sure pricing was appropriate for work to be done and materials. We insisted on changes to the "Estimate" where we would not agree on various items or felt costs should be reduced for specific reasons we covered. All in all, Kevin worked with us. In a few of the instances, we agreed with his calculations and dropped our change requests; however, in most matters, he agreed and made the changes. Careful review of the Estimate  was necessary, but Kevin was always professional and worked with us regarding work to be done, materials to be used and pricing. 
A two man team headed by Santos did the removal of old flooring and installation of new. They were professional and easy to work with. They were neat and cleaned up after every day's work.  Kevin came by periodically to oversee work and see if we had any questions or issues. He was always available by cell phone. He regularly called to see if we had any questions or issues and if we did, addressed them immediately to our satisfaction.
Once all flooring was in, another worker came and painted the risers and molding along the stairway.
Once the painting was done, the carpet runner on the stairs was installed by another two man team supervised by Tom.
Once all work was done, we called Kevin and told him of the items we wanted addressed before the job could be considered completed - such as where putty was put in over nail holes on the stairs. We felt it was not done well and a different color putty was needed to better blend in with the stair color.  The next day it was done to our satisfaction.  A couple of other minor items were also addressed.
Once all that was done and we felt the job was completed to our satisfaction, we paid the balance due.
Overall, we are pleased with the work done - both the materials used and the workmanship by the crews.
Kevin was very easy to work with even though he is a salesman at heart.  As long as we kept that in mind and evaluated his recommendations carefully against our budget and requirements, everything worked out very well.

Our experience with premier floors was excellent. Tom arrived on time to make measurements and to give to us a fair and reasonable estimate to recarpet our home. We purchased the carpeting based on Tom's recommendations for carpet manufacture, type, and color and couldn't be happier. On the day of the work, the crew arrived on time and got right to work on removing and disposing of the existing carpeting, and then installing the new. The crew was fully professional, did a flawless job on the installation,  and did an excellent cleanup. We would recommend Premier Floors again in the future for our own needs and recommend them to our friends and family.

This is a fantastic company. They are extremely professional and I have used them for a long time. Its a family company and I think they are amazing. They treat me like family and I would highly recommend them.

We have had several people--including people who themselves are hired to refinish/install flooring--comment on how beautiful the floors look and what a great job they did.  There was some damage to the walls, and some miscommunication regarding the kitchen floor installation, but they responded to our concerns in a timely manner (even while out of the country) and offered to fix any problems.

I met with three providers in one day, although I saw Kevin from Premier Floors twice. After talking to me for a few minutes, he realized he didn't have samples of the type of carpeting I was interested in, so he asked if he could come back on his way home with the proper samples. He came back as promised and I picked out something I liked, and he talked me out of the more expensive version which appeared identical (if not slightly stiffer) than the slightly less-expensive carpet that I eventually chose. Kevin was really, really friendly and energetic, which was slightly overwhelming at first, but he just seemed very enthusiastic about getting my business. After receiving quotes from the other two companies, I considered going with the second company as there was negligible difference in price (the make-up of the price was different, but the total dollar amount differed from Kevin's quote by $4), and I liked both providers equally. However, I liked Kevin's carpet product better and he was in regular contact with me to send me revised quotes (I think I ended up with a total of 5, for different types and variations of carpet), check in on my decision, and eventual scheduling. Although we'd settled on a date a couple of weeks out, the carpet came in early (like in 2 days...) and he called to inquire if I would be available that weekend for installation. Was impressed that they were flexible enough to re-schedule EARLIER than initially quoted and it was super convenient to do on a weekend. I was actually out of town that Saturday but my husband was there to let them in and go to work. When I came home, everything was perfect. Installation went relatively quickly and efficiently and it looks and feels amazing. Furniture pieces also went back into their appropriate places. From quote to installation - it was 10 days. It was truly easy working with Kevin and I'm pleased with the product and the value.

I met Fred at a home show a couple of years ago. We weren't ready to so anything then, but he left a very favorable impression. When it was time, I got estimates and Premier Floor was the best price and value. I was an active partner in every step of the projects. Their courtesy and professionalism is beyond compare, and they have become our 'go-to contractor' for future projects. I have referred them to friends and associates for their new projects. They have options for every budget and everything is tastefully coordinated to make your home look as beautiful as you can dream it to be.

I've been thinking about installing hardwood floors in my dinning/living room area for years but I wasn't sure what kind of floor I wanted to install. I shopped around quite a bit and different contractors but was not very happy with the quality of flooring they offered and/or the price. After I thought I made selection on the contractor, I received a call from Kevin, who responded to my inquiry from the home show. Kevin was so nice and polite, I could not decline another quote. I also thought that Premier Flooring would be more expansive than other companies. I was wrong. Kevin and Fred came to my home to take floor measurements and we discussed the style I was trying to achieve. After listening to me, Fred stated that he knew just the floor I would love and would look great in my house. I agreed to meet him and Kevin at the shop soon after and he showed me the floor. He was right, the floor was beautiful! I have not seen such a beautiful floor from any of the other companies nor would I have envisioned that type of floor for my space. Not only was the floor beautiful and of great quality (solid wood) but the price of the floor and installation was much better than all other quotes I received. I could not be happier with the customer service, the price and the quality of the floor!  Everyone who visits me always compliments me on these floors and I can't wait to get the rest of the house done. I will certainly use Premier Floors again!

My wife and I consulted with Fred and Tom at Premier floors to do a large-scale flooring project.   Fred was easy to contact and came out to our house a few times, both to measure, as well as provide samples and tips for my wife, who wasn't sure of what to do at times.   We ended up replacing our family room carpet with a new carpet that is durable, soft, and hopefully will survive our 3 kids and 3 pets.   We also added hardwood flooring in our study, upstairs hallway, and converted our carpeted stairs into a nice set of hardwood stairs, while removing the old builder grade foyer hardwood and replacing that as well. We felt that Premier gave us the best service and pricing for the product we selected and are more than happy with the end result!   My one minor concern was that I had originally scheduled the hardwood install for a different date, but the crew ended up coming a few days earlier than planned, since they were available.  I have a flexible job, so it was not as big of a deal - I could have told them to come on the original date, but it was nice to get the project done earlier than expected.

Reasonably priced, owner very involved, very accountable and customer focused service.

They were very good. They were very down to earth and nice. They did a really good job on the floor.
