"My daughter who is 8 years old has been dealing with allergies since she was born.  The allergist made several recommendations because she has food allergies has well as mold, dust and other environmental allergies.  He recommended that we change carpets to hard surface like hardwood, install air cleaner and get hypoallergenic bed and pillow sheets.  We made the changes to her diet as well as her bed sheets but wanted to hold off on the carpets and installing air cleaner.  We waited for 6 months and she still had major allergies and eczema the next step was to change the flooring as well as figure out the air cleaner situation.  We called several companies including Air Benders.  David was the person who came to our house from Air Benders.  He made several recommendations including changing our heating and Air conditioning system because the current one (9 years old) was not compatible with the type of air cleaner (Trane Clean Effects) that would remove up to 99.98% of allergens. He also felt that our current HVAC system was not efficient and by changing it to 20XL it would decrease our bill by 15-25% and that would pay for itself over time. After couple days of discussion with family we decided to go with his recommendations.  The installation took place over 2 days period everything looks excellent and more importantly it is working great.  My daughter's allergies have decreased by 75 percent and it seems to be getting better by the day.  I also compared our gas and electricity bill and it much lower than same time last year.
We also used Air Benders to change our flooring from carpet to Hardwood on all levels as well do our duct cleaning to get rid of all the dust in the ducts.  
This was a big financial decision for us but seeing my daughter's allergies decrease and seeing her happily play and live a normal life is worth much more.
