"I sent my initial inquiry e-mail at 6:24AM, and Carlos wrote back at 6:52AM asking if he could come by that morning between 8 and 9AM. After having three other companies quote it, I selected Water Damage DMV based both on the cost of the estimate, his promptness and communication, and the clarity in answering questions I had. When Carlos arrived to do the work, he went right to it. He worked quickly and kept me informed about what he was finding and how it was going. When he was done with that, he put in humidifiers at first. The next day, he came with help to apply the mold-prevention treatment before adding fans to aid in drying. "Botched install AND reinstall; dismissive, rude staff Flooring purchased and installed in our home in 2023 and joints began to separate within months. When I reported this by phone to Floor Fashions, I was advised to glue the pieces together using wood glue. Glue failed and another joint started bowing. I went back to the company in June 2024 then waited three months for reinstallation. After another month, the reinstalled pieces are now separating as well. Visited showroom to demand resolution. The response of the warehouse manager – responsible for reinstall – was to note that I had not responded to a follow-up call placed three days after the reinstall (seriously). When I explained thst as a customer it’s my responsibility to pay – not to return his calls, his response was “this conversation is over” and walked away. Exchange was witnessed by sales associate who sold us the flooring. Images show install and reinstall."
