"Christopher said it would be the easiest transaction I have ever made. He was correct! Texted him the address and had a dumpster later that day. Couldn't have been easier. Plus, very friendly and professional. Highly recommend this company for all your trash hauling needs."

"It went very well. Three men showed up on time. They were very respectful and strong men too! Each one carried out pieces with no trouble at all. They were quick too and very careful. The next stop was to the storage unit. My husband was to meet them there. It was a few streets away. As they left my house, the truck broke down up the street from me. Albert, the lead guy ran back to my house in the pouring rain to let me know they called for another truck to meet my husband at the unit and if need be to transfer our things to another truck. Albert assured me that we were off the clock and they would get to the other house ASAP. About an hour later, the trucks were at the new location.....they unloaded and put the pieces where they needed to go. They were true to their quote and price. We would definitely recommend them and use them in the future if needed.

"They guys were amazing.  Showed up shortly before the call time, unloaded everything perfectly.  Not a single item broken, and not a single scratch or bump on our wall or the condo hallways.
The guys were so very nice, friendly and professional, and worked at a good pace.
We would 100% recommend them to family, friends, and strangers.

"Most of the large items had already been moved out by a larger company. There were several items that he disposed of and made 3 deliveries on our behalf. He took a dinning room table to a location and went out of his way to do that. He also took the bulk of the items to habitat for humanity to donate the furniture that my mother didn't want anymore. The last thing he did was took all the items that were junk and took them to the trash for us. He did a great job and for the price I would recommend him. He went out of his way and adjusted his schedule for us."

Garbage Collection questions, answered by experts

Garbage disposals are durable appliances that usually last at least eight years as long as you clean and maintain them. It’s relatively rare for a garbage disposal to break on its own, as most malfunctions happen due to user errors, like overstuffing the grinding compartment or damaging the blades by trying to dispose of metal or bone. Eventually, cracks or leaks could develop in the unit, which requires a full replacement.

On average, it takes one to four hours for a professional to install a garbage disposal. This includes removing the old unit, taking necessary measurements for positioning, removing and fitting new pipes, and installing the brand-new disposal system. If there are unforeseen issues, such as accessibility concerns, the process takes longer.

These appliances do unscrew, but you need to disconnect everything properly when you replace your garbage disposal. Make sure you shut the power off to the area first and check that it’s off with a voltage detector. Disconnect the main drain line and P-trap, and then disconnect the dishwasher drain line if you have one connected. You can then unscrew your garbage disposal using a disposal wrench. Just make sure you disconnect the electrical lines before removing your appliance.

Never put glass in the garbage disposal. It can damage your disposal or eject shards of glass out of the disposal and cause injury. If you get broken glass in your garbage disposal, turn it off and cut the power from the breaker, use a tool like pliers or tongs to remove the glass, and use a wet-dry vacuum to remove the remaining glass pieces. If you can’t access the disposal safely, call a garbage disposal repair pro.

While the drain connection for a garbage disposal is nearly universal and fits standard sink drain holes of 3 1/2 to 4 inches, the size of the disposal unit itself is not. You must have enough space in the cabinet underneath your sink to accommodate the disposal's housing. A larger model may not fit in a compact cabinet or if the existing plumbing is arranged in an unusual way. Before buying a new garbage disposal, measure the available space under your sink. If you are replacing an old unit, it's often easiest to choose a new model of a similar size.
