He left to buy new one at Fluvanna Ace Hardware, Returned promptly, and installed new one. Duration of service about 1 1/2 hours (including trip to Ace!) "Classic Granite and Marble (CGM) helped us through the process of replacing our countertops and upgrading our kitchen. Andrew and the rest of the team there were very helpful and informative. They assisted us in understanding our options, which materials were available and the advantages and disadvantages of each. We choose granite as our best choice. CGM has a large number of selections available and was willing to walk us, literally, through their warehouse so we could look at and touch the options. They provided us with samples of those that we were interested in so that we could see what the stone looked like in our kitchen. The installers arrived on time and did a very professional job. We felt like we had time to review and ask questions and did not feel rushed in any of the process. The job was very well done and looks beautiful. They also installed the sink that we bought, it all looks so nice. I want to thank the crew at CGM for a great job. We are waiting for our tile installer to do the back splash and have some trim and painting to finish on our end, but the upgrade to our kitchen is wonderful. Thank you!"

"Shawn has came out twice to my house through my Home Warranty company. He has always been professional, on time, and always very communicative. The first time was to repair an external water line and got me up and running with water as quickly as possible. Then, my water heater was leaking and he came out on 4/18/20 and gave me a full breakdown on how the installation will work, about warranties, and set me up a time to come on Monday 4/20/20. He messaged me later on Saturday and said he wanted me to have hot water quickly so asked if he could come on Sunday. I told him that would be great. He called me to let me know when he was an hour away. Him and his co-worker came in and had me installed in a very quick turnaround. They cleaned up and explained and made sure I was satisfied. "Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. And the result is so beautiful--no corners cut, no putting up with mediocre results, all this for the same price and time or less than others quote. Be patient. Be flexible. Talk with Bill about the results you want. Listen to suggestions. Your results will be beyond anything you thought was possible."

"He showed up  when he said he would and was able to get the job done in very little time.  He also installed a dimmer for the light.  He has also given us some ideas on how to get more light into the kitchen area.  Changed some light bulbs and wants to see how we like them.  They are much brighter.  He is also going to get back to us with a "retrofit" for over the kitchen sink and food prep area where we would like more light.  He is very good, would recommend him  and will use his services again when we need electrical work done.
