"I called Jamie in the morning, he returned the call shortly afterwards and was able to come that afternoon, even though this wasn't an emergency. The sprayer nozzle in the kitchen sink was dripping and seemed to cause the regular faucet water flow to pulsate. There also was water in the cabinet under the sink leaking  from the sprayer nozzle hosing. Jamie examined everything carefully, cleaned the nozzle and the faucet. He explained the design of the nozzle leads to dripping and explained how to reduce that.  He felt the problem was somewhat due to recent work on the main water lines, so he examined the main water valve, cleaning out a lot of debris that had been caught in the filter screen. He worked carefully and thoroughly and is very polite and pleasant. He honored a $25 coupon that was on the Angie's List site. His regular fee is $85 per hour, but the coupon brought the cost to us down to $60. We would definitely use Jamie again.

"Classic Granite and Marble (CGM) helped us through the process of replacing our countertops and upgrading our kitchen. Andrew and the rest of the team there were very helpful and informative. They assisted us in understanding our options, which materials were available and the advantages and disadvantages of each. We choose granite as our best choice. CGM has a large number of selections available and was willing to walk us, literally, through their warehouse so we could look at and touch the options. They provided us with samples of those that we were interested in so that we could see what the stone looked like in our kitchen. The installers arrived on time and did a very professional job. We felt like we had time to review and ask questions and did not feel rushed in any of the process. The job was very well done and looks beautiful. They also installed the sink that we bought, it all looks so nice. I want to thank the crew at CGM for a great job. We are waiting for our tile installer to do the back splash and have some trim and painting to finish on our end, but the upgrade to our kitchen is wonderful. Thank you!"

"Shawn has came out twice to my house through my Home Warranty company. He has always been professional, on time, and always very communicative. The first time was to repair an external water line and got me up and running with water as quickly as possible. Then, my water heater was leaking and he came out on 4/18/20 and gave me a full breakdown on how the installation will work, about warranties, and set me up a time to come on Monday 4/20/20. He messaged me later on Saturday and said he wanted me to have hot water quickly so asked if he could come on Sunday. I told him that would be great. He called me to let me know when he was an hour away. Him and his co-worker came in and had me installed in a very quick turnaround. They cleaned up and explained and made sure I was satisfied. "Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. And the result is so beautiful--no corners cut, no putting up with mediocre results, all this for the same price and time or less than others quote. Be patient. Be flexible. Talk with Bill about the results you want. Listen to suggestions. Your results will be beyond anything you thought was possible."

"Our sewer sump pump alarm came on on Thurs night. We investigated and noticed that the sump pump was not running. We doubled checked the breaker panel -- nothing had been tripped. So we turned off the alarm, went back to sleep with the intent of looking for plumbers on Angie's List to help us resolve this problem. I contacted David Plumbing & Heating, Inc. at 0800 Fri morning. I told the woman on the phone of my scenario who took my phone number and said a technician would call me back. I told her that I was taking my husband to a Cardiology appointment later that morning (he was scheduled to have open heart surgery in a couple of days) and needed to try and talk to the technician before 0930. She understood the urgency and said someone would call before 0930. True to her word, someone called at 0830 and told us to call him back when we returned from our appointment. Our appointment lasted longer than we anticipated, which also involved a trip to the hospital for some lab work. When we finally got back home and called him back (about 1300 hrs) he said he would be at our house in a couple of hours. He (Dennis the technician) arrived at 1500 hrs and almost immediately found the problem in the sump pump. Something had gotten the float ball stuck (probably toilet paper in the effluent), which triggered the water not refill in the sump pump tank, which in turn trigger the alarm that there was no water (or it was at a low level) in the sump pump. He didn't even have to take the lid off the tank. He was done within 30 minutes. But he checked everything out, flushed the toilets, ran water, etc., several times to make sure the system was turning on and that the tank was filling up to its correct level. Dennis was professional, knew his trade well, was very polite and even liked our dog! I really appreciated the fact that Dennis was able to come to our house almost at a moment's notice, especially on a Friday and the beginning of a 3-day Memorial Day weekend. The cost was nominal, but Dennis providing so much satisfaction and ease to a potential problem. Kudos to Davis Plumbing in Fredericksburg, I would use them again in a heartbeat."
