"I came across Shockoe Solar when I was researching solar installers. The installation went very smoothly, and without a hitch. They were very thorough and took care of all the necessary paperwork, permits, subcontractors, etc. I have only had one problem since the installation in August of 2009. I called them to report the problem, and they immediately responded, dropped what they were doing, came to my house and fixed the problem. In fact, they were at a conference 90 miles away at the time!"

"Things went perfectly. Matt was the lead plumber. He and his coworker Kevin did a great job. I had a leak behind the drywall in my basement. It was due to a pipe that froze this winter due to a defective shutoff valve. When I opened the valve on Sunday, water sprayed behind the wall into the basement. I also had a main waste stack that needed permanent repair. The guys worked very quickly in some difficult spaces. The hole Matt created in the drywall was small and precise. Yet there is enough circulation for things to dry out properly, now that the insulation is removed. Though they don't do drywall repair Matt made suggestions that would turn this opening into a useful access panel that is easily covered by a picture. Frankly, l expected a bigger mess and a bigger bill. Yet these guys don't work on commission like plumbers in some firms. The price seemed very fair, and the work was done quickly. The workers were very professional, even though I was constantly asking questions. You won't be disappointed if you need their service."

"We recently installed a solar shield, solar attic fans, and 30 solar panels on our home. We are so happy with everything! From the first time we sat done with Shane Durie, to the installation, to the time it was switched on. They were very polite, professional, knowledgeable and respectful of our property. They even took care of permits and HOA approval. If anyone is looking for someone to install solar panels, give them a call, you will be happy you did. 5â ï¸ â ï¸ â ï¸ â ï¸ â ï¸"

"The whole process was great! My family and I were very pleased with the friendly service. On top of all that, fantastic results with the installation of the solar panels."

"When I moved into a new house in Maryland I was set on getting a solar system installed. After reviewing several proposals from competing companies I signed on with Nova Solar. From the proposal to the installation to the start-up of the system Nova Solar's attention to detail was none I have ever experienced working with subcontractors on my house. Their attention to detail was extraordinary. All of my inquiries and questions on the system were answered thoroughly and in a timely manner. There were several tax credits, renewable energy credits and grants that were available for my solar system and in my jurisdiction. Nova Solar made sure that each of the applications were completed and received for their system. When completed Nova Solar sent links to each of my electronic devices so I could have access to the system on line to track the daily energy production and to see any trouble with the system (which there have been none to date) at any time during the day. I have been in the subcontracting business for over 30 years and know a good subcontractor when I see one. I have had an excellent experience with Nova Solar and would highly recommend their services to anyone who is interested in solar energy."

"Trevor was highly informative and guided me through the process. I HIGHLY recommend using him if you are th inking of solar....Great tax advantage."
