"The guys that came were absolutely awesome! Mason came in and I explained what we needed done, he was exceptionally professional and very understanding. I showed him where we needed the fan installed and had only anticipated them to install the electric, we were going to install the fan later but the guys went the extra mile and not only just installed the fan but also installed the remote mechanism as well. The guys were extremely nice, I told them they didn’t have to do it that we could do it later and they said they were here and could do it quicker so they didn’t mind doing it at all. I even had another issue that had come up over the weekend in my kitchen, I asked if they could just scope it out and I could setup another appointment to fix it but Mason said no way, I will go ahead and fix that little issue right now. So not only did they install the electric, they put up my fan and installed the remote mechanism that I’d purchased separately, but they also fixed my issue in my kitchen! We cannot say enough positive things about the crew we had help us. I know I thanked them like 10 times but it still wasn’t enough, we are genuinely appreciative and impressed. We’ve already agreed if we have any other electric needs in our home we will call Mason at Cole Electric again! I’ve already recommended him to a few friends and family members!show more

"He fixed the original issue with the breaker but he also noticed that there had been a short in the electrical panel that could have caused a fire and the whole thing had to be replaced. He did it all in about a 7 hours and it was reasonably priced. He is highly recommended!"

"I am very impressed with Guy Smith Heating and Cooling. My AC wasn't producing much hot air and there were some pretty cold nights in January and February. Due to my job, I was gone a lot, but when I finally called, their customer service was easy to work with and they were able to send a technician out later that day. I received an automated text with the technicians name and an alert when when he was on his way. Jon Shaffer was a professional through and through. As a hands-on guy with minimal HVAC knowledge, I had tons of questions. He didn't mind me tagging along up in the crawl space and asking him everything I was curious about. He walked me through everything he was checking out. After inspecting both the air handler and the heat pump, we discovered a refrigerant leak and a worn out heating element. Jon took all the time I needed to talk through everything. From how long I plan to live at this house, the expansion plans with an extra room, to family needs and lifestyle. And we discussed all the options, from leak detection, refrigerant filling and equipment repair costs in relation to my foreseen time in this house and taking into consideration the future sale of the property and how old the system would be at the time; as well as total system replacement. We crawled around the other crawl space access and talked out relocating the air handler to get it out of the cramped location it was currently in. We walked around the house discussing the ideal relocation of the heat pump for my house expansion plans. I think we walked through every possible option in preceding forward. All in all, he was here for over 3 hours when the inspection only took him 1/2 hour. The rest was all answering my questions. I ended up deciding to replace the system and am happy with the decisions we settled on. Thomas Britton and his crew showed up two days later to install the new system. They were polite and went right to work. They laid drop clothes to protect my hardwood floors. They successfully removed the old system and installed the new system in one day and I was enjoying my warm house by nightfall. The installation looks very clean and neat. Nobody is happy about dropping a lot of money for an unplanned home repair. But having a good experience with a company's customer service and the field technicians makes a world of difference. I am glad I chose Guy Smith Heating and Cooling and will definitely call them in the future when I begin to add the extra room.show more

"Had a lot of work done. I needed ceiling lights, connected to wall switches, put in for 4 second floor bedrooms, which had no existing light fixtures. Ed cut holes in the ceiling and installed 4 electrical boxes (fasten 3 studs and one brace). Then he went up into the attic, ran wire to the wall switch, and put in new double switches. He then installed 3 ceiling lights and one ceiling fan. Next he went back up into the attic and ran new wire into 5 closets, and installed lights in them. Those lights were connected to the double switches he had installed before. Ed then replaced an older ceiling light with a new one. Finally, he replaced a couple of older breakers with new ones and put in some blanks too. Ed charges a Flat Rate for the work, so if it takes longer, it does not cost more. He is very profession, shows up on time, and works hard for the entire time he is there. I plan on having him come back in the future to do some more work that needs to be done.show more

"K &amp; B performed splendidly. The owner, Scott Dickey, quoted a fair price and stuck to it. There were no hidden costs. He saw to it that the job was done on time and on budget. Unlike many contractors, Scott obtained all the final inspection certificates from the city. Without them, we would be unable to sell the house. Typically, the homeowner finds out about missing inspection certificates years after the completion of the work. <br /> K &amp; B's crews were always polite, on time, and businesslike. They paid attention to detail. They cleaned up after every phase of construction. The foreman, George Henderson, often appeared at my home at the end of the day, after working on other projects, and saw to it that the day's work at my home was done properly. He personally finished out the final punch list. <br /> I can only say that this was a job well done. My comments are similar for the work that K &amp; B did in 2012. Here is one story to illustrate: On November 21st, Thanksgiving eve, after our many guests had arrived for a family reunion, the outdoor gas log fire set ceased working.&nbsp; After I made an afternoon call to K &amp; B's office, George Henderson appeared.&nbsp; Although not familiar with gas log sets, and&nbsp;lacking written instructions, he called the manufacturer to discover the cause&nbsp;of the problem.&nbsp; He went to a store, personally paid for materials needed, and installed them, all the while surrounded&nbsp;by family members who were giving him plentiful but unneeded advice. &nbsp;I told him that he was worth his weight in gold. <br /> I would heartily recommend K &amp; B Construction Inc. to anyone. You simply can't go wrong with Scott Dickey doing the job.show more
