"This is the second time we hired Ephraim Floors and Remodeling. The first time was to do hardwood refinishing and they did really great job and completed the job on time. That is why we called and hired them to do a rehab for our second home. This time though, they did a horrible job and didn’t even finished the rehab job as per our contract. Here are the issues we encountered: 1. When they were doing the interior painting, they didn’t properly covered the floor and paint was all over our hard wood floors. They also didn’t remove any of the power outlet covers when they paint 2. Per the contract, they were supposed to change the kitchen countertop but without even letting us know in advance, they installed the existing countertop over the new kitchen cabinets 3. They didn’t properly installed the upstairs toilet seats after installing the flooring which caused water to leak and damaged the drywall. See the attached photos 4. Per our contract, they were supposed to change the cabinets in the upstairs bathroom but didn’t complete that job 5. Water supply line connection is removed from downstairs bathroom and tank lid was missing Per our contract, we paid 50% of the rehab cost on the day we signed the contract and the remaining 50% to be due on when the job is completed. However, the owner, Dagmo told me that his father passed away and he needed the money for the burial service. I felt sorry for his loss and gave him half of what should have been paid when the job was completed. I haven’t heard from him after that. I trusted him given he said he is a pastor and a man of faith."
