"I bought a 199 dollar coupon from Angie’s list for 8 hours of painting work. Wilbur was quick and responsive, and came out to give me an estimate immediately. He assured me that painting over my current wallpaper in these rooms would be a lot of work and gave me an estimate of 850 plus purchase of paint. While it sounded a bit overpriced, I agreed. He put me on the books immediately, which I truly appreciated. I even changed my mind about what I wanted painted, and he was quite agreeable to it. The morning off, he was here with two women. They were professional and overall got the job done in a timely manner. However, it is the handling of payment that left me with a VERY bad taste in my mouth. I was struggling with two very small children, and about to leave for a birthday party when he insisted that I pay by check immediately. The job wasn’t finished. I asked if I could send a check by mail, all to no avail. Balancing a screaming baby, I grit my teeth and wrote the check. Frankly, I felt discriminated against. I highly suspect he wouldn’t ask this of anyone who was Caucasian and living in a gated community as I am. Most people would sympathize with a woman in that difficult situation. Also, a spot was missed. He came out to fix that within a couple of days, and apologized for the interaction. He stated many people haven’t paid him, that is why he insisted. And of course, talked over me as soon as my husband came in the room. That’s still no way to treat a young mom and professional who paid for what I suspect is an overpriced job. I’m sure he will deny all of this, but that doesn’t make it any less true. Don’t make assumptions about people when you don’t know them. While he and his crew did a great job, and he will insist he didn’t discriminate because he ‘hires black people’, I’m still very disappointed and cannot recommend him because of this. The truth hurts, sir please check your incorrect biases at the door. I doubt you would’ve done this to a man or a Caucasian, don’t do it to me, either. I have no intention of hurting you or your business, but I hope you keep this in mind during future interactions with other customers. For these reasons, I don’t think we’re a good fit in the future."

"Jeff and his crew were kind curtious and did a fantastic job. Through out the 10 years I lived in my home they have painted the whole inside, removed carpet on stairs and varnished them. They also did painting outside deck. I would highly recommend Jeff and his team for the job. Unable to present photos as I am not in the house anymore."

"I felt they did a fairly good job, just missed some details and seemed to rush through the cleaning. Two people came to clean and they did not stay for 3 hours... they were probably here for 2 hours total, so I feel like more time could have been spent to avoid missing some of the details. Examples of what was missed: - lamps were not dusted - wine bottles and wine shelves in a piece of furniture were missed (i did ask her to do them and she did) - a tile shelf in the bathroom was not cleaned and still had grime on it - missed dusting nightstands and dusting under the bed. They are VERY responsive! I sincerely appreciated the ability to communicate through email and she emailed back right away."

He came out gave the estimate and basically worked every day after my closing date. The one day he was going to take off, he dropped by in the morning to fix some faulty wiring that almost caused a fire. He had almost the entire house painted by the move in date and helped make other improvements along the way. He is willing to help his customers out any way possible. If he doesn't know how to do something himself, he has the connections to the people who can. Chris has definitely become my "go to guy" during this process. Everything done, he has done for less than the price most companies charge just to paint some of the interior of a house. I just can't say enough good things!
