"Job not completed. They put my driveway going straight up the hill. No switchbacks. The only way to get up to camper pad was to use 4 wheel drive. The road is totally washed out. They did not fix it as promised. Then they put my camper pad below my septic. I did supply them with all septic info from the health department. After having a meeting with them, they did put in another pad above septic. I continued to speak of my concern with the driveway many times, and they said they would address it. They cleared the path for power lines but left 2 trees in the way. They have not returned to remove them or fix my washed-out driveway. I am so disappointed in how I have been taken advantage of."

Trampoline Assembly questions, answered by experts

Removing fence posts that are set in concrete is something you can't do by hand. You will need an excavator, a strong post-puller, or a jackhammer. If you plan on recycling the concrete base, you may be able to cut the post out with a jackhammer and then set the new post in the existing base. However, it's usually better to remove both the fence post and concrete together. Due to the weight of concrete, you will need a hydraulic removal tool.

Yes, removing a chimney is a major undertaking. If your chimney provides structural support to your home (which they often do), you’ll have to take extra precautions to remove it safely and not affect the structural integrity of your home. For a project like this, you’ll need to recruit a structural engineer, masonry contractor, and demotion crew. Between all of the labor and materials, you can expect to pay $2,000 to $10,000 in chimney removal costs.

The cost of demoing the interior of a garage averages $2 to $7 per square foot. If your existing garage is in good shape, this is a wallet-friendly way to make it look new without a garage rebuild. Garage remodels include gutting existing materials and replacing them with new cabinets and storage, flooring or floor coating, lighting, and workbenches that make the garage more usable and customized to your needs.

Yes, you will need permits prior to demolishing any permitted structure, including homes, home additions, concrete driveways and patios, and outbuildings. Demolition permits help ensure that the work is done safely and that the person performing the work is licensed to do so. Demolition permits usually cost between $100 and $500, although the cost can fall outside of that range depending on where you live and the scope of your demolition project. In most cases, your demolition company will pull and close permits for you.

Depending on the size, insulation condition, and removal method, it can take anywhere from four hours up to twenty hours. Therefore, be prepared to split the projects into phases, or leave it to a professional. Insulation is an intermediate project with various risk factors and can be challenging to someone unfamiliar with the process.
