"I hired T&C Handyman Services to remove the moss from my homes roof and during their inspection, which was free, they were friendly and honest by telling me it would take a couple days to run the numbers. Then they contacted me the next day and asked me if I wanted them to remove the leaves from the gutters as the weather in Virginia was about to get bad. They didn't have to do that and it showed me the care and concern they have for their fellow Man and neighbors in our community. I recommend them highly and will continue to use their services."

"He also did drywall repair and painting. He was very thorough--finding some mold behind trim work and removing it before reinstalling. He also communicated with me since the job was going to take longer than originally expected."

"Had another project to put in a new front entrance door. Called Arlie and he came earlier than he had quoted which was a blessing to have the job done sooner than later. We had selected a different size door. So, he had to prep the new openong and installed the door very quickly. Door fit is excellent and it opens and closes very smoothly. Another great job Arlie completed for me. Arlie has a fantastic work ethic and is very professional in his craft. I'll definitely call him again!"

Grill Assembly questions, answered by experts

The difference between a built-in and regular grill is installation and design. A built-in grill is integrated into an outdoor kitchen or structure, often within a countertop or island. It is a permanent fixture. A regular grill is standalone, portable, or cart-mounted, allowing mobility and versatility in placement. Built-in grills are typically larger with more cooking space, while regular grills come in various sizes. Built-in grills are favored for creating a custom outdoor cooking area, while regular grills provide convenience and flexibility.

Built-in gas grills typically have a life span of 10 to 15 years. However, their longevity can vary based on quality, usage frequency, climate conditions, and maintenance routines. High-quality models made from durable materials tend to last longer. Additionally, regular cleaning, covering the grill when not in use, and conducting routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning burners and replacing worn-out parts can extend its life. A well-maintained built-in gas grill can provide excellent performance and memorable cooking experiences for a decade or more, making it a worthwhile investment for outdoor cooking enthusiasts.

Safety precautions include proper ventilation, regular inspections for leaks, and ensuring tanks and fittings are in good condition to prevent accidental release or fire hazards.

Depending on the appliance and labor requirements, costs range from $150 to $500.

All U.S. states require permits for gas grill installation, so you’ll have to get one before you move forward with your project. Permits help ensure that the gas line runs safely to avoid gas leaks and explosions. Gas line permits can usually also only be pulled by certified plumbers, which means you’ll have to hire a professional from the start. The permit for a gas line installation for a gas grill usually costs between $100 and $300. You can contact your installation company or building department for more accurate pricing.
