They managed the work site well, and at the end of the project, they cleaned everything up nicely, replanted the bushes we wanted to have replanted, sowed grass, and spread down appropriate quantities of straw. "Stop searching and hoping to find a good waterproofing contractor; you've found the best. Ernesto visited my property, prescribed a solution similar to others I had solicited, but was able to explain every facet of the project in a level of detail that telegraphed authenticity, expertise and real craftmanship. He and his crew completed a 25' under floor ("French") drain, sump pit, pump and discharge system. As is always the case with 60 year old homes, a few surprises were encountered during construction, but Ernesto deftly dealt with each curveball, explaining options clearly to me, answering numerous questions I had and gave his own recommended course of action. The day after installation, the system was put to the test by an all night deluge - which previously would have resulted in me on the floor cleaning up gallons of water penetrating from the floor/foundation. In this instance, the floor remained bone-dry and the elegance of the system shone through. Ernest installed the quietest sump pump I've ever encountered and the discharge solution was truly elegant - not even visible outside - everything concealed within my existing stormwater management system. "Very responsive and completed work in under an hour. HOWEVER, the problem was the price - $410. For an hour's work, with supplies at about $50. That is $360/hour labor. I checked internet sources, average cost should not be over $200. When I complained, it appears that they have a minimum 4 hour charge. Here is the exact quote from an email from the company "We use straight forward pricing for all work performed which we have levels for work to be performed if it takes 15 mins or 4 hours price doesn't change we don't have hourly price." I don't think this type of job would ever take 4 hours, I am not sure why the base price is $410. When I told them of other work that needed to be done on the bathtub, such as a leaky overflow, they did not offer to fix it under the same price structure. Also, they installed the water knobs so they turn opposite what they should (counter-clockwise to turn off instead of clockwise)."
