Witt MechanicalJeff's guys did a great job! I did all the framing in the basement and then they came in a ran all the wiring for outlets, lights, switches, bath exhaust fan, and smoke detectors; ran all the water and drain lines for a bar and full bath; and also moved HVAC ducting to get it out of the way. Once the rough-in inspection was done and drywall and painting were completed, they came in and did the finish work. All along the way they were patient and helpful.- Thomas C.

From the proposal stage (we got estimates from 3 local contractors), for which Davis provided a range of options for the heating system and accessories (air quality "upgrades") with a clear explanation of each, to the final work, everything went smoothly. Unlike many contractors, they thoroughly cleaned up all the work areas, were knowledgeable, COVID-19 "aware", communicated well and very professional. Work was done on time and for the proposed costs (actually for a little lower than proposed, because there was an additional Carrier rebate they applied). Johnston Cooling & HeatingI called 3 places before calling this place and all 2 of them kept saying they would call me right back but didn't (Witt and Toms) so I wasted over a week trying to get someone already. Woolridge at least told me why they wouldn't come out ( they don't reconnect those pipes but could have done everything else) Well Johnston to the rescue! They came the very next morning, they tried really hard to work with my husbands handyman work but then told me that it just had too many holes and kinks. It was a Friday so they were going to come back on Tuesday to replace the pipe and finish the work. I texted them that my husband wanted to try one more time to save a little money. He was fine with it. He came back Tuesday and hooked the pipes up and filled them. A lot of places refuse to work if they know a homeowner has tried anything. I originally had a serviceman from Wooldridge Heating, Air, and Electric to evaluate our noisy, wobbling ceiling fan. It took a 12 ft. step ladder to reach, which I'm not able to do myself, anymore. Once it was determined that the motor was going bad in the fan, I asked them to return and replace it with a new one we bought. They two workers sent were prompt, polite, and very efficient. They had the old fan down and the new one in place in less than an hour. That included transferring a remote control receiver into the new fan canopy. They even took away the old defective fan. Very good service and at a very reasonable cost.

Awesome, stress free experience. Royce and his partner Jake (?) were outstanding. When our truck load was 160 lbs over the truck's weight limit of 8,500 lbs, they removed their spare tools and equipment and drove the 890 miles with no more than 1/2 their fuel load to stay underweight. Nothing damaged and they were so helpful in getting all our furniture and boxes into the right places. Protected walls and floors and disassembled and reassembled beds and tables without issues. Virginia energy service came to do air purging work and have the second trip, to make sure no leak and the pressure stays on 40 psi. They did a methodical and through jobs with a reasonable price; I am totally satisfied.

... After studying their High Quality work on a friend's 2nd Story Sunroom and Dining Room... My Bride and I decided that we wanted this little company in Salem to build our Dream Room. Steve ( Southwest Sunroom Sales Manager ) was right on track; He reassured us that the Southwest Team could handle any contingency. And they did with Incredible Results ! Personable and friendly communication, and coordination, removed all the stress that comes with any challenging project - they actually made it fun. These are professional contractors and builders and a service team that deliver to Happy Customers. Some events: Pergula takedown, Deck removed, Fish pond moved and filled in, Electrical power updated to code, and power lead moved to other side of home... Then the really impressive Construction started on our 14x18-foot new "LIVING ROOM" There were No Inspection Issues, WOW. And believe me, the inspectors were here during All stages of the project (s), You get your money's worth plus = Southwest always builds safe, above, and beyond the code. i.e. you can literally drive a tank up on the subfloor and foundation. It Is BUILT ! I retired from the U.S Marines and have spent the last 26 years in Service and Installation work locally, and have been to "some" job sites and teamed up with lots of service people. What has impressed me most about the Southwest folks was how motivated and skilled the two guys that did most of the construction were... Troy and Key really excel in my book, and they obviously love the kind of challenging work they do. Come sun or rain , they were here early and motivated and ready with a plan to get 'er done. Communication and Status updates are very good top-down = Service Manager and VP (Kevin) Kept all of us in the loop informed... Even after the initial startup and walk around... to make sure each Builder, Contractor, and Customer is Happy and on the same sheet of music. Noteworthy: When the guys who are actually building your sunroom care enough to call and remind you "that if anything should go wrong this weekend [ because of an approaching tropical storm ] please just call us, we will be home all weekend." That is when you know Southwest has attracted some really Great Employees ! By the way, the new roof and guttering held back and dispersed an incredible amount of rain. The cleanup was always immaculate every day and at Completion = You almost can't tell they were even here and the Mud had been very high... Well, I lied just a little; There is this incredibly fine building attached to our little home. It is really more of a cathedral than a Sunroom !
