"I found Mindy for my son on Angie's list. All of her reviews were stellar, so I thought why not and I called her. She talked with my very nervous son about buying his first house and she was fantastic with him, encouraged him along the way and guided him with the care equal to if he were her own son. Not to many real estate agents will take you to see a property right after a snow storm, but Mindy did, we trudged around in 10 inches of snow looking at a house that the had been on the market 11 days. My son put a contract on the house and she guided him through every step and protected him along the way. Zachary did take a class about becoming a home owner and had his conventional loan lined up prior to the purchase, but Mindy really gave him the confidence that he could do it. I highly recommend her to anyone. Further if I ever decide I need a new house I will be calling Mindy! Cost of service was broker fee that is why I wrote $0.00"

"I met Chuck while visiting one of his listings I found online.  He was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around so I decided to give him a call back as I was looking at some other properties.  After that, I spent about a year looking at houses because I am very picky and Chuck stuck with me the whole way and was very helpful throughout the entire process.  I didn't quite know what I wanted but I knew I looking for something very specific that had to be something special.  He probably showed me 30 to 50 houses throughout my search, never loosing patience or interest in my feedback.   He made recommendations based on his knowledge of the area and was happy to show me anything I found on the internet as well.  I often felt like he was just as interested in seeing the houses as I was.  He even worked with my schedule squeezing in showings when we could find time.
My favorite thing about searching for houses with Chuck was that he is very laid back and fun to be around.  He provides the professional knowledge and experience you want from a Realtor without ever pressuring me to make a decision.  I always felt like I was visiting with one of my friends that happened to be a real estate professional and had a key to all the houses.
I finally found a house that I loved and he jumped on it.  Less than a month later we closed.  I had to do almost nothing accept get my documents together for the loan, show up to closing, and move my stuff into my new house.  It's been 5 months now since I moved in and Chuck still keeps in touch and is very helpful with answering any questions I've had about being a homeowner.  He's even stopped by a few times to see how things are going and deliver paperwork so I didn't have to go pick it up from the closing attorney.
I would highly recommend Chuck if you're looking to buy or sell a house!

Property Appraiser questions, answered by experts

Yes, built-in bookshelves can be worth the investment and can add value to your home, especially when constructed from high-quality, timeless materials like luxury hardwood. They offer a practical and stylish storage solution that utilizes wall space effectively. While they cost more than store-bought units, the custom fit and potential to increase your property's resale value make them a desirable feature for many buyers, particularly for homeowners with large book collections. For the best return on investment, consider having them professionally built.

A property valuation, sometimes called a comparative market analysis or CMA, provides a real estate expert’s opinion on how much your property will sell for. It takes many things into consideration, like the condition and location of the home, but ultimately, all that matters for a property valuation is what a buyer might be willing to pay for the property. An appraisal is more concerned with determining the value. A valuation is to estimate what you’ll get for a property, while an appraisal helps a lender establish loan-to-value ratios and loan amounts.

A koi pond may add value to your home if it’s a feature sellers are looking for. Like pools, ponds can affect your property value depending on their condition, whether they’re a popular selling point, and how well they’re incorporated into your home’s landscape.

While there’s technically no limit to the dollar amount you can borrow for a home addition, the standard limit is around 80% of the value the addition is expected to add to your home. That means you could feasibly borrow up to $80,000 if an appraiser determines that the addition or bump out will add $100,000 in value to your property. You might also be limited by your debt-to-income ratio or credit score.

Ensures accurate valuation reflecting current market conditions, assisting in financial decisions.
