We got a few quotes/designs for a backyard project (tearing down an old deck and trying to do something with an area where grass would not grow). Ryan easily came up with the best design, and the price was very reasonable. Once the actually work started, things went very smoothly, and Ryan kept us up to date along the way of any delays (weather for example). We fell in love with his design for our area, and the finished job exceeded even what we imagined. The crew doing the actual install were very friendly, and cleaned up nicely after each day. A terrace is a flat area that’s raised slightly above ground level while a patio is built at the same level as the door leading into the house. Because of this, terraces usually aren’t connected to the living areas of a home but are commonly found around pools and fire areas.

Most standard concrete patios are around 4 inches deep. However, concrete patios that need to support very heavy items, like a hot tub or outdoor kitchen, should be around 6 inches thick to support the full weight of these items. You'll also want to make sure you install rebar for patios that need to support a lot of weight like this.
