"I would like to preface this review with two things: 1. 5 star offers a discount on their work if you leave a good review, be weary of what you read on here. 2. We have had this company complete both a kitchen and a bath remodel. The issues I will bring up were consistent with both of these jobs. During both of our remodels, the biggest complaints I had were communication and quality. Two big components that a company should really pride themselves on if they cared about their customer base. Communication for our projects failed at almost every step of the way. The conversations had between us and the salesman were great, and then almost every single interaction that was not only had between us and the company but the company within themselves was comically poor. Some examples include: 1. Being told we would have a project manager come to our house prior to the project to check out our attic for structural questions (no one ever came before they started knocking down walls) 2. There were days workers would show up when we didn't know they were coming and not show up on days we were told they were supposed to be there. Not to mention the tile workers who had their truck parked outside our house from 8-5 but stayed in there late and left early to smoke. 3. Several unanswered/not returned calls and texts from the project managers. The only time the office reached out to tell us about something? When the bill was "due" even though our project wasn't complete yet. 4. Our salesman saying a project would take 3 weeks when in reality, it's been 3.5 months and there are still issues. 5. Anytime we asked the current workers what the plan was for the next day or really anything, they NEVER knew. They didn't know who was going to be working, they didn't know when, and they didn't know on what. 6. Several of the workers telling us point blank that their fellow workers screwed up and did things wrong. Good thing we caught it I guess? 7. Tile was about to be installed until I noticed it was not the right time, and the workers had no idea and they didn't know what tile they were actually supposed to put down or in what pattern. Then tile had to be ordered, delaying us even further. 8. The list goes on and on. It's as though no one in the company ever talks to each other, or their customer, and we're left trying to put the pieces together. Secondly, their quality of work is not worth what you pay, not even close. There has not been a single thing that they've done that we haven't had to ask them to fix or redo. This adds time to the project, financial strain on us as customers, and not to mention the stress of constantly acting as a project manager. We have had MAJOR things need to be redone (I'm talking walls needing to be taken apart and rebuilt, cabinet and ceiling painting, relocating outlets, and an ENTIRE SHOWER FLOOR), as well as other things (paint chipped walls, bad putty jobs, grout crumbling, paint splattered inside and outside the house and on and on) and all of it was because no one from their team cares enough to do it right the first time. The pictures I will include show *finished* products that they think are appropriate to leave as a job well done. Not only that, but just this last time when pointing out that the glass they had "special ordered" was actually measured wrong and therefore our shower door is crooked, I was told that my "OCD will just have to live with it." This company is not worth your time or effort. I would never recommend them to anyone."

"West Shore Home did an amazing job remodeling our two bathrooms. They replaced our existing tub and shower combinations with walk-in showers. Replaced our existing vanities, floors, toilets, and baseboards with great modern updates. We took our time selecting the right company to do our remodel. After reviewing and evaluating four companies, we selected West Shore Home. The quality of their materials, the updated designs and installation all done by their professional, trained, and experienced employees (no subcontractors) were the major reasons we selected West Shore Home. Their sales/design representative, Evan, listened to our needs and concerns before the design process started. He suggested helpful design alternatives and provided examples for our completed remodel. He explained before we signed the contract, the agreed cost in our contract is the last price we pay at the end of the work unless we change the scope of the work. He explained the removal and installation process before starting the work and provided updated progress information during the process. They were very considerate of our living conditions and protected our home from any damage. They were knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and dedicated to getting the work done right. It was our experience that selecting Wests Shore Home was the right decision for our remodel. They worked hard to make the experience as enjoyable as possible.
