"I was surprised how well the job turned out.The technician went out of his way to solve a mystery as to why my doorbell was not working. He looked at every possibility and went even further. He found the transformer had been removed by the crew who installed my new furnace just a few days ago.My bell started working as soon as he replaced the transformer. While he was here I asked him to add another doorbell for downstairs. This was another surprise. He put in two smart bells that are fantastic. This guy is smart with a capital S.I would recomend Lantor Electrical to anyone after seeing what real service is like."

"Hired a professional to install 2 hand rails for my parents. One was installed on the front porch brick steps and one on the back porch brick steps. They arrived on time, installed both handrails quickly and safely. Handrails are sturdy, and now my parents lives are that much safer. Would recommend."

Doorbell Installation questions, answered by experts

A radiant barrier is a form of insulation topped with a reflective material designed to keep homes cool during hotter months. It is generally considered worth the investment if you live in a hot, sunny climate, as the cost can be recouped over time through lower energy bills. Installation costs typically range from $0.10 to $1 per square foot. After installation, homeowners in warm climates may save between $7 and $15 per month, potentially reducing their electric bill by 5% to 10%. The exact savings will vary depending on your location and the type of barrier chosen.

Insulation is professionally installed by measuring spaces, cutting materials to fit correctly, and placing them without gaps for optimal thermal resistance.

Yes, you can install insulation behind drywall yourself, but only if your walls are not finished. If your studs are exposed, installing fiberglass insulation in roll or batt form is very straightforward and just requires a few tools and some safety equipment. If your walls are already finished and you’re looking to add insulation, it’s better to hire a professional, as you’ll likely need blown-in insulation, which can be dangerous to work with and a challenge to get into the proper areas in your wall voids.

If you plan on heating your garage, you must install a vapor barrier when drywalling the garage. A vapor barrier protects your garage from frost and mold that can occur through condensation. If your garage is unheated, you don't need to install a vapor barrier. The only exception is if you regularly crank the heat in your car before getting in it. In this case, you may still want to install a vapor barrier, as your car can heat your garage.

Insulating your home's exterior walls can realize up to a 20% reduction in your monthly energy bills. This means that regardless of how much the project costs, it can begin to pay you back immediately. Additionally, adding spray foam and other high-end materials can increase the selling value of the property.
