My old house presented some challenges but Richard and his installers figured everything out, even to the point of reworking several things to ensure the system worked to my satisfaction. They were incredibly patient with me as I asked questions throughout the process and they took the time to explain all the design tradeoffs. Richard and the installers were friendly and professional. Really nice people. The install was finished several weeks back and the heat is working perfectly. Waiting for warmer weather to test the central AC unit, but based on the heating performance, expectation is it will work perfectly. No more climbing up on the roof to service that swamp cooler. We were quoted a very fair price that was a bit lower than another company with no push to upsell anything and no hidden costs or surprises. Best of all, the install came in under the quoted price. I am very happy with the entire install and highly recommend Burrows."

"Scheduled them for a fire place repair and HVAC tune up. The guys that showed up knew nothing about fire places and said it would be another service call $$ for the fire places. They did go in the attic to look at why we did not have much flow. They came down and said it all looked fine and the fan was turned all the way up. I went up a week later to run some electrical and discovered the vent coming out of the unit was not even connected and had been blowing hot air into the attic since ROYAL installed it a couple years ago. So they screwed me three times. 1. Had to pay someone else to do the fire place (that they installed) 2. Paid them for a tune up that they did not do and totally ignored the vent blowing in their face. 3. Paid them to do the HVAC system in the first place that they never completed. ALL I WANTED WAS A REFUND OF THE TUNE UP THEY DID NOT EVEN DO! I sent an email to the owner and he was not even professional enough to respond."

"While looking for parts to convert my boiler back to Natural Gas I was referred to CVM by Carrier (the maker of my boiler) as they were a distributor of Carrier parts and could sell me OEM parts. After calling CVM they talked me into letting them service my boiler instead of just buying the parts and doing it myself (a decision I later regretted) I was told a tech would call to make an appointment. 3 weeks after the initial call I googled CVM finding a different number and called again, emailed some info about my boiler and again was told a tech would call to make an appointment. This time a tech named Jeremiah called and indicated he needed a week to get the proper parts for my boiler. 3 weeks later after hearing nothing I called Jeremiah back and was told Carrier didn't have the right part numbers and they were to blame for the delay, another 3 weeks without any updates I called and was told he had the part and needed to set an appointment. The appointment came and he didnt show, towards the end of the day I called to confirm and Jeremiah told me he was sick and needed to reschedule. Not having any other options I rescheduled a week later again taking time from work and Jeremiah was again late for the appointment but did show and changed the orifices on the burners only. Charging me $400 for half the job and claiming he couldnt continue until the Natural Gas was connected. A week later the Natural Gas was connected and I called both Customer service and Jeremiah requesting requesting an appointment to finish the job, this never happened. After the weather turned cold I called a C&C Mechanical to come finish the job, upon their arrival they informed me the pilot Orifice had not been changed nor had the correct pilot assembly been installed. This technician had counted on this and didnt need to blame Carrier for anything as he had grabbed the correct part on his way over. All in all CVM's customer service is overall a horrible mess and this company is content to let their customers freeze! I dont recommend CVM in the slightest!"
