I called all over to find a reasonably priced oil change, and I was thrilled to find that Sammamish Highlands 76 would do it for around $27 including tax. So I dropped my 2007 Camry off and left it for the day. When I came to pick it up, they had changed my oil, but they also said that additional work on the car needed to be done--to the tune of $2,000! They said the air filter needed replacing, coolant system needed flushed and replaced; front shocks, back struts, battery, and radiator hose all needed replacing. I'm no auto mechanic, but as far as I could inspect, none of these things needed to be done. They were even too cheap to top off my coolant when they changed the oil. They certainly failed to earn my trust.

It went well. The mechanic found some fluids that need to be topped up and some struts and shocks that need to be replaced. Rocky Davis is Service Advisor who explained the work to me and why it needs to be done. Very good at explaining in detail in layman's terms.
