JIFFY LUBE

It is easy to get in. The service is fast. That is why I use them.

During my oil change, a technician left a rag in the engine compartment of my car.  After driving to my home within a couple miles of the facility, the rag caught fire.  Luckily I carry a fire extinguisher in my car.  The extinguisher helped, however the heat from the engine kept re-igniting the rag, and it took over 30 minutes to completely put the fire out.  Since the Jiffy Lube had closed for the day, my husband went back early the next day to talk to the manager.  The manager was not helpful and only offered a coupon for a future free oil change.  It was difficult tracking down anyone from the Jiffy Lube corporation to talk to - but eventually, I talked to a district manager who agreed to refund the price of my oil change (minus the cost of the air filter they are very pushy to upsell you on) and agreed to pay for a car inspection by an auto mechanic that they selected. In hindsight, I should have argued to take my car to a mechanic I trusted of my own choosing.  I took my car to their recommended shop and it was inspected in under 2 minutes -- I was assured everything was fine (how could they tell that by a very brief visual inspection??).  I had no time to push the issue further -- we left town for 6 weeks within 2 days of this, and during that time the car sat in our garage.  After returning, the check engine light came on within 2 weeks.  I then took my car to my trusted mechanic who told me that a number sensors and different parts of the engine in the area of the fire were damaged and needed to be replaced. Jiffy Lube told me that because of the amount of time that had lapsed (regardless of the fact that the car had not been driven), they could not be held responsible.  Over $2500 out of pocket for repairs, this was the most expensive oil change I have ever had.  I DO NOT recommend this shop, not only because of their carelessness, but because their management was so unreasonable and such a nightmare to deal with.

The whole process was very efficient.

They are very good. They remember my name and my car. They treat me nice. The do top grade work. I have never been disappointed.

They were prompt, courteous and professional.

They have always done a great job and I never had a problem with them. They are quick and work in a timely fashion. Their price is average.

They are very thorough and in a very short amount of time. I do tend to see different faces all of the time, so I can't say a lot about the staff but they are always professional. They get the job done and are courteous.
