Has anyone ever kissed a ribitt? What is a ribitt? I don't know either. Ribitt is the sound a frog makes. What are they saying? Ribitt, Inc. is a small business comprised of very experienced, qualified key personel of five (5), each averaging 10+ years in the business. Scott is the president and has been in the construction arena for over 35 years as a real estate development consultant, custom home builder, including commercial renovations of medical clinics. Being a small business has its advantages. Ribitt is a hands on contractor and yes, licensed subcontractors are used whenever specialty trades are needed. Ribitt's License Classification is a B100 residential and commercial. Traditionally, we don't charge for initial consultations. Often times people just need assurances or advice with ideas they may have. Service, product knowledge and having the ability to over deliver is our standard. As a convenience for our customers, we accept credit card payments. When the job is completed, the job site is clean. A Prince may not appear if you kiss a Ribitt, but our customers are always pleased when the job is done well.

Owner-operated. Uses subs for labor. Charges a flat rate. Travel charges may apply. Service fees may apply. Additional contact: Lauren.

"My over the Range Microwave went out. We were able to purchase a similar model online but was not sure if we could install it ourselves. I looked online and the average installation fee ranged from $150-$300 and an extra $25 -$50 to haul away the old microwave. I found Ideal Installer from Angi's list. They scheduled the installation right away and for only $125, plus they took away the old microwave at no extra charge. The team that came out were very knowledgeable and explained what they were doing during the installation. Thank you Curtis and Morgan you did a great job!"

CA Builders can do many trades for any residential or commercial customers. I currently have two employees that take pride in their work, and have the same ambition as I do for a job well done. We like to do most work ourselves but occasionally I use my quality subcontractors to get the job done. CA Builders is licensed and insured, the license number is 6890352-5501 if you wanted to verify my qualifications. We will do free estimates for any size project you need. We are honest, we do great work, and word of mouth about our company is key, which I strive for. So please, let us earn your business.

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

By careful planning and reinforcement to maintain structural integrity.

Any issue that affects the structural integrity or soundness of a home is considered a structural issue. In addition to foundation cracks, other signs of structural issues include roof leaks, bowing walls, sloping floors, gaps around windows and doors, and more.

There are a few easy ways to locate a wall stud without a stud finder. First, try knocking on the wall with your knuckles. Most parts of the wall will sound hollow, but when you tap over a stud, it will sound more solid. Alternatively, since studs are spaced 16 or 24 inches apart, you can measure those distances from a corner of the room, which will always have a stud.

There are approximately 5.33 board feet in a 2x4. You can use the board foot calculator in this article to easily find the answer. A 2x4 is 2 inches of thickness by 4 inches of width, so you need to find the length, with 8 feet being the most common. You’d use the calculator here to multiply 2 times 4 times 8, and then divide by 12, arriving at a total of 5.33 board feet.

Sagging floors, large cracks in your walls, and uneven door frames are three signs that your floor joists need to be replaced. You may also notice squeaky floorboards, windows that no longer close correctly, and stairs that sag on either side. You'll need a structural engineer or floor contractor to confirm whether the floor joists are the true problem behind these issues.
