If I could give negative stars, I would. Ken Poulsen, who I think is in charge, didn't consult with me or show me a plan on how he would put in the sprinkler system. Instead, he just started running his trenching machine making crooked trenches in the lawn. He never filled in the trenches leaving dangerous spots in my lawn where ankles can be turned and weeds grow. He tried to get done in 1 day and did sloppy work. Didn't put in enough sprinler heads so that parts of the lawn don't get water. Didn't properly put in the valve boxes so that they sink and fill in with soil. Charged too much money for shoddy work. Stay away from Dr. Sprinkler!

Two years ago I decided to put in my own sprinkler system.  It took me 4 weeks and it was a huge hassle.  I felt like every couple days I was out in my yard taking care of an issue.  Especially with the valve box.  I had it blow up on me three times.  But I didn't want to spend the money to have a professional come in and do it.  After a second summer of watering with the hose because my sprinkler system was too much work I finally decided to call Dr. Sprinkler.  I still wanted to save as much money as I could, so he helped me build a new box and use as much of my existing system as possible without any more leaks.  Looking back I should have just had him do it all, but instead I have had him back about 6 times for different things that he could have done all at once had I let him.  Each time he has been responsive and done the job quickly and I've not had a single issue with anything he has done for me.  Well worth the cost, no more dry spots and no more worrying that my box is going to spring a leak in the middle of the night.  I am very satisfied.

I wasn't able to be home because of an emergency, and he showed up, did the repairs, and was willing to let me pay him later. He was very friendly, and very good to work with. I will definitely be using him again.

I was trying to replace and adjust some of my RainBird sprinkler heads by myself. The became really frustrating, and I finally admitted I needed professional help. When I called we arranged a time within a couple of days of the call, and he worked with me on scheduling such that he came early enough that I was able to have him there before I went to work. He was a little late, but I didn't care because he apologized and he was already coming really early in the morning as it was. He went through the whole yard with me and listened to the issues I was having with various sprinkler heads and the controller. He also helped me evaluate my yard and suggested things I should ask my landscapers about bug control where there were blank spots in my grass. When we decided that it would be best to replace the controller for the sprinkler system, he gave me many options to choose from, ranging from really inexpensive but no warranty, to good quality (a little more expense) with a warranty, to controllers that were a few thousand bucks but I could control them from the internet. We settled on a good quality one with a warranty and he agreed that would be the option he would recommend. He then was able to finish the job quickly. I was very happy with the job he did and his expertise with various sprinkler systems. I will definitely use him again and would recommend him to others.

Came in did the work, did the job and left! Very good!
