"All seemed well- Nate showed up when he said he would. Seemed knowledgeable and was professional. He told us what he thought would help make our stove more efficient. Told us to expect to see a bid in the next 2 days or so. Then charged us $75. First red flag. $75 for a bid?? The reason we called him was to look at our blower. He DID NOT EVEN TOUCH IT (second red flag) but told us it needed replaced and was a manufacturer defect. We paid him and then never heard from him again. He never sent a bid and won’t answer or return any calls or texts. Don’t waste your time, or money!"

A spray foam roof costs an average of $6,000 to install, making it one of the most affordable flat roofing options available. Costs can increase if you have a complex roof design with many roof vents or have a roof that’s larger than average. While up-front costs are relatively low, keep in mind that ongoing maintenance and repairs tend to be more expensive than you’d see with other flat roof materials.

You may be wondering if you really need the snow removed from your roof. Since most roofs can only handle 20 pounds per square foot of snow accumulation, there is a tipping point when you are suddenly at risk of roof collapse. Another reason not to add new over old is the weight factor. Finally, when you cover an old layer, you lose the ability to inspect it for damage, rot, or mold.
