"We had an excellent experience building our home with Timberline Property Management and Construction. From the initial planning stages through completion, their team was professional, transparent, and highly responsive. Communication was clear and consistent, and they took the time to explain options, timelines, and costs so there were no surprises along the way. The quality of craftsmanship truly stands out. Timberline paid close attention to detail and delivered a home that met—and in many cases exceeded—our expectations. Any questions or minor issues that came up were addressed promptly and handled with care. Building a home can be stressful, but Timberline made the process smooth and well-organized. We felt confident that our project was in good hands from start to finish. We highly recommend Timberline Property Management and Construction to anyone looking for a trustworthy builder who values quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction."

"We called Garage Doctors and they came over same day. Within minutes we had a game plan which included replacing the broken spring, installing new nylon rollers, and upgrading the other moving parts. Honestly I was shocked how quiet the garage door was by the time they were done with it! I was very impressed with the level of professionalism and the quality of service ...and the fact that they swept out my garage as a courtesy was an unexpected bonus! I'd absolutely recommend these guys -- they are awesome."

"I couldn’t be more thrilled with the deck built by the Snooks! From start to finish, the team was professional, friendly, and focused on delivering top-notch quality. They listened carefully to what we wanted and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. The craftsmanship is exceptional, and it’s clear they take pride in their work. Not only do they build great decks, but they’re also just genuinely good people to work with. If you’re looking for a company that cares about quality and customer satisfaction, look no further!"

"If you are looking for someone to oversee the construction of a garage, Brandon really knows his stuff. He was very familiar with building codes and gave a thorough overview of options and challenges during our initial meeting with him. the project started exactly when promised and stayed on schedule. All of the subcontractors were extremely courteous and professional and very, very good. I would use Bonfire again without hesitation.
My only suggestion would be to be write out exactly what you want as you enter the agreement. There were a few mistakes or things that were missed because it was discussed verbally and we never followed up on it. Know exactly what you want and get it in writing at the outset because the project, for us anyway, moved REALLY quickly.

Garages questions, answered by experts

Sheet metal garage doors, particularly steel and aluminum, have the cheapest materials and installation. Experienced homeowners may cut and shape the metal themselves; however, you can buy prefabricated metal from a hardware store or pay a metal fabricator to shape the metal to your specifications. Steel and aluminum garage doors can cost as little as $500 and go up to $3,000.

Garage doors that are not insulated can be a major source of heat loss. That’s why it’s essential to winterize your garage door with insulation and weather stripping to prevent heat loss and keep it warm more easily. Consult a local garage door installer if you need help determining the cause of your garage losing heat.

A garage ceiling needs a vapor barrier if it’s a heated garage or if you’re installing insulation in the ceiling. Without a vapor barrier, you risk moisture issues and mold growth. If you have an unheated garage and don’t plan on installing insulation that could get wet and harbor mold, the ceiling doesn't need a vapor barrier.

Yes, with sustainable wood products and high-efficiency lighting options.

Most cabinetry made for a garage will have special coatings and finishes built to withstand extreme heat and cold, moisture, pest damage, rusting, and dry rot. However, many homeowners have put their old kitchen cabinets in the garage, added a couple of fresh coats of paint, and use them for a while without too much wear and tear.
