"We called Just Right Heating and Cooling (we were referred by a friend). They did not disappoint! We first tried to fix our furnace, Kurt came out and he was amazing. He was so honest with where our furnace was at, and fixed what he could. We then decided to get a quote to see what it would cost to replace it. Tom came out to give us a quote, and again he was amazing! We went forward with getting a new furnace as well as adding AC. Carver and Daniel came to do the installation and they were efficient, did a clean job, and they were so fast. My house is very busy since we had kiddos running around and having them here didn't interfere at all. I am so happy with the work that was done and will be referring friends and family."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Your dishwasher drain hose may have a clog if your dishwasher is full of water, your dishes aren’t getting cleaned, or water takes a long time to discharge into the garbage disposal.

A sewage smell in your crawl space is usually from a damaged or clogged pipe leaking sewer gasses or actual sewage underneath your home, but there are some other common causes. Moisture, from poor or damaged encapsulation or a malfunctioning sump pump, can harbor mold and bacteria, causing a musty smell. Pests can also get stuck in your crawl space and die, which causes a sewage-like odor.

Using less toilet paper is the easiest way to prevent future clogs. Also, avoid flushing sanitary products, thick paper towels, or hair down the toilet. If you’ve been using a brick in the tank to reduce the water used to flush the toilet, take it out immediately. Bricks will eventually fall apart and clog your toilet drain. Keeping your toilet lid closed also helps avoid future clogs.

Clogged pipes are one of the top signs your water heater is about to fail. Potential symptoms of excess sediment buildup include not enough hot water, leaks, unusual noises, low water pressure, and discoloration or odors in the water.

Even if the shower drain doesn’t seem clogged or dirty, plan to clean it out about once per month—or more frequently if you or your family shed a lot of hair. It’s a good practice to remove any hair from the drain on a daily basis, as hair can accumulate fast and cause clogs in no time. You may also want to have a plumber thoroughly clean the drains in your home once every six months.
