"The sales man was excellent and easy to work with. He worked with the owners to get us such an affordable deal on a brand new furnace. The technicians came in and were very professional and clean. I loved the deal we got and the equipment is superb."

"These guys never disappoint any time I have used them. We have a 5000 sq ft, 3 level home with an upstairs Master Suite that just bakes in the summer months. In July, August and September, we end up sleeping in the guest bedroom in the basement because the upstairs is unlivable. In the winter, the basement is very cold and its difficult to spend time down there without firing up the space heaters. Unfortunately, the previous owner only installed a single condenser and furnace and it simply cannot keep up in the summer. Tom came over and gave us a consult on establishing a three zone damper system for our heating and air-conditioning system to mitigate the temperature disparity. He was very thorough in explaining how it worked, what kind of results we could reasonably expect and the costs associated. We agreed that it would be a more cost effective and less invasive option than installing an additional furnace in the attic and having to reduct. John, Frank & Kevin showed up for three consecutive days to complete the install. They were on time each day, put down tarps over the carpet and were very clean and tidy. They cleaned up their tools each day before leaving. They were friendly, personable and I felt very comfortable leaving them alone in my home each day after I let them in in the morning. When the install was complete, John walked me through the system and explained the work they had done. Their professionalism and expertise are unmatched. If you are looking for a great HVAC company that is reliable and affordable, give these guys a call!

"I couldn’t be happier with the plumbing services from Express Home Services! From the moment I called, their team was professional, responsive, and courteous. The plumber arrived on time, clearly explained the issue, and quickly resolved a major leak under our sink. The quality of work was top-notch, and they left everything clean and tidy afterward. What impressed me most was their honesty—no upselling, just straightforward solutions at a fair price. It's rare to find such trustworthy and efficient service these days. I highly recommend Express Home Services to anyone needing fast, reliable plumbing help. They’ve earned my trust, and I’ll definitely call them again for future home needs. A++ service all the way!"

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

An active cleaning agent and a drain snake is the best way to clean a main sewer line. You can purchase a regular or enzyme drain cleaner or make a DIY drain cleaner with baking soda. Use your chosen solution at least once a month or as needed to keep your sewer line clear.

Using less toilet paper is the easiest way to prevent future clogs. Also, avoid flushing sanitary products, thick paper towels, or hair down the toilet. If you’ve been using a brick in the tank to reduce the water used to flush the toilet, take it out immediately. Bricks will eventually fall apart and clog your toilet drain. Keeping your toilet lid closed also helps avoid future clogs.

Yes, you can use hydrogen peroxide to unclog a drain. Instead of using a baking soda and vinegar solution, you can use baking soda with hydrogen peroxide. The process to unclog a drain is the same as with vinegar, but use 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide instead.

Once you’ve poured the baking soda and vinegar into a drain, you should wait about 10 minutes for the mixture to break down the clog. If you try the baking soda and vinegar method and it doesn't work, you can do it again or try the baking soda and salt trick.

No, it is not advisable to spray pesticides down the drain in your home. Most drinking water and wastewater treatment systems are not properly equipped to remove pesticides. Should pesticides infiltrate waterways, they can cause harm to plants, fish, or other living things. In most areas, pouring pesticides down the drain is illegal due to the potential harm it causes.
