"The 10+ year old water softener at our  rental property  (4/2.5 house) failed and our tenant needed a repair. We live in another state and the long-distance coordination of any repair is tricky but dealing with plumbing issues is especially challenging. He consulted with us on options and prices and when we found an especially good online deal to purchase a new unit, agreed to do the installation on a fee basis and waive the drain cleaning costs too. Throughout, he maintained good communication among the tenant, ourselves and himself despite a 3 hour time zone difference.
