"When I arranged for the work [removing tub to install walk-in shower with all new subway tile walls and all new fixtures and grabbers, etc.} The first thing I became aware of was that LifeSpan's quote was literally about half of a previous quote I had sought out. John and Ryan, the installers, were magnificient to say the least. Being personable is always a plus. They seemed a bit skeptical of how low I wanted things installed....but once i stood in the shower, they did exactly what was needed....to say the least, I am not tall. The work took two days and later on another visit for a minor fix-up. I can't say enough about the masterpiece they created. The timing is perfect because I need to use all the little old lady options. From start [visiting showroom] to finish, it was perfect home improvement experience. As an apartment dweller, I cannot engage them on their other installations, but I would if I could. Office staff [Kalena, Russ, Matt, Jamie, etc.] were noteworthy as well. "I am incredibly impressed with 5 Star Kitchen and Bath. We had a leak in our shower, and were unable to simply repair the leak without ripping out a whole bunch of stuff. We decided to go ahead and update the bathroom and went with 5 Star. Kim was excellent in helping us design a bathroom that kept our current footprint. I am going to tell you it was quite expensive, (I'm still struggling with the cost of it, but it's part of life now I suppose) but you definitely get what you pay for. To be able to have one contact person and our new bathroom almost compete (waiting on custom shower glass!) in under two weeks has been amazing. I looked into doing the bathroom myself, but there was no way I had the contacts - or time - to go with a bunch of general contractors, plumbers, electrical, tile people, etc. Having one group complete the entire bathroom was so wonderful. I was comfortable having them in my home, and they cleaned up every day before they left. They even took care of my dog when she got a little clingy due to a thunderstorm.
