"Mark answered when I first called and was able to come look at the job and provide an estimate the same day. He and a helper arrived the next morning and spent three hours washing leaves and pine needles off the roofs and gutters of both the house and garage. Then also bagged up the debris. Overall, I felt Mark provided a service than I expected. I would call him again to do other projects as listed in his profile."

"Excellent, would hire again. Quick email response, clear electronic quote provided, walked through the service process prior to starting the work. This is not some guy that bought a pressure washer and started a business, they perform service the correct way."

"Steven Jones was very responsive...from his quote to completing the job when (and ahead of) he had estimated. He and his 2 helpers worked in extremely hot and humid conditions and performed their work well. Steven was on-site much of the day, first to introduce his crew and get them started and then to check and join in the various projects.

"Sheila and her assistant came in and deep clean one of my rent houses from top to bottom. She cleaned baseboards, blinds, inside of the oven, and the floors. My floors was terrible, she made them look very good. I love the way she gave me a tour, and tells me if there is anything that i do not like, tell her she will fix it. I will only use her service."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Your pro will most likely bill you at an hourly rate of $50 to $80 per hour to sandblast a door due to its small size. This type of job won't take long, so if you have other surfaces that need cleaning, schedule those tasks at the same time to get your money's worth from your pro's visit.

If you’re DIYing the project, it could take up to a week if you aren’t able to dedicate full-time hours. If you hire a professional and they arrive with a team, expect your stairs to be sanded in as little as 2 hours (for simple projects). Finishing the stairs takes a while longer as there are drying and sealing times to consider, but the actual work will take much less time than the sanding portion.

There are two ways sandblasting could be dangerous: improper use of the equipment so that the stream touches your skin, and air particles created during the sandblasting process. While the first is easier to avoid and fairly obvious, the second has the potential to be more serious and is much more difficult to understand. This is why you should always hire a pro to sandblast, as they understand the dangers associated with the process. If proper safety measures are taken, then sandblasting is rarely dangerous.

Sandblasting removes old paint, rust, and grime efficiently, providing a clean surface for refinishing.

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.
