"Mark Gonzalez did a wonderful job on our daughter’s house. We called him and he came out and gave us a quote. Scheduling was an issue and we chose to wait for him to be available. We are glad we did. He did what he agreed to do and then some. An example is in order. The task was to repair sheetrock in several areas throughout the house. Those areas were enumerated and discussed. During the course of the job, he saw other areas that needed repair and fixed those too. He did not make a big deal of it. He just did it. He is also an artist. For example, we were supposed to provide the paint. He requested that he be allowed to get the paint which was great for us. He took samples and went to Sherwin Williams. When he got back with the matched paint, he was not satisfied (looked good to us). He took the paint back and had it redone. To us, it looked good the first time and perfect the second time. His rates are extremely reasonable and does a superb job. Scheduling may be an issue so we suggest to allow sufficient time for him to get to your project. You will be really glad you did."

The work included new cabinets, granite countertops, remodeled two bathrooms, repairing tile flooring and paint. In short, half our house was demoed and rebuilt. "Painter stopped paint about 1" above carpet on all baseboards. Had to go around and correct. Accent wall next to wall painted white had to go and adjust painting to have even lines. Several spots of paint on carpet that had to clean up; paint on door knobs which I cleaned up. Requested ceiling to be retextured where it was peeling up, instead contractor scraped the ceiling and painted it. There are areas that are still needing address on ceiling which I will correct. I failed to remove the blinds in a window contractor removed blind and layed on floor and they were stepped on. Ended up with a slat being broken. Office personnel did call and request I make sure I was happy before staff departed."

"I requested an estimate via Angie's list and received a call from Scott the very next morning and he came out very soon after to determine what needed to be done and the cost.  I contacted him the next day to schedule the work based on both ouf our schedules.  Within a week or so (on the scheduled date), Scott and two of his crew arrived as scheduled to start the work (I believe the men were Alex and Pete).  The two guys worked for 3 days to complete all of the work.  They were both extremely professoinal, friendly and focused.  They did a great job and completed the job ahead of schedule.  They arrived on time every day and didn't leave for the day until they had all work areas cleaned up.  Scott stopped by each day to check on the progress of the job which I appreciated.
The reason I gave them a "B" for pricing is because I see that they are now offering an Angie's List special for 8 hours of painting for $199 so I'm a little jealous I didn't wait and get this offer as I would have saved a TON of money!  If you're reading this review on July 10, you only have 5 days to purchase this special so you should JUMPT AT IT.

"Overall, it went okay.  They were a few glitches.  Screws run through the outside wall of our house from the shower insert, water pipe broken in the kitchen, cabinets had to be painted and repainted because of orange peel.  Granite installed incorrectly had to be redone.  Everything that went wrong at the time was fixed at no extra cost to us.  The workers were very pleasant, cleaned up after themselves, were very considerate of our needs.  I got a little put out over the cabinets needing to be redone (they looked really bad the first time).  There have been some things since the work has been completed that I have noticed.  We had to have a repairman come out and reinstall the exhaust because it wasn't done correctly. and the paint on the cabinet doors is not holding up.  We will probably have to have them painted again alot sooner than I would like.
I said above that I would not use DR Renovations again, I would probably rather move than go through another renovation.  They probably are as good as most.  I just don't want to go through it again.
