They charged $489 to install my Kitchen faucet that I bought. Only labor for less than 1 hour. I called them to get a break down of how it cost $489 for installation of a faucet and they didn't call me back. I will never use them again."

Yes, a bigger well pump can increase water pressure—up to a point. If you currently have a well pump of 8 GPM, you might notice a pressure boost when you go up to 10 GPM. In the long term, a plumber will either remove the damaged area of the pipe and add a replacement coupling or replace the entire length of the pipe between joints.
