"Great! They arrived at the time they promised. They were careful around my shrubs. The brick and siding of the house looked great and I was shocked at the difference having the driveway pressure washed made. I have asked them to contact me every 6 months to have it done again."

"All work was done in a timely, professional manner.  Shingles and majority of the work was done within two days with a few items finished a few weeks later-a skylight that had to be ordered, etc.
Everyone did a top notch job.  The roofers even went over the grounds two times picking up nails after the job was done, and did a very good job at that.  They were very pleasant folks.  We were glad to have them do the work.
After the ridge vents were installed, I noticed s savings in my electric bill, too.  We wee able to raise our thermostat by 3 degrees and still stayed cool in the last few hot days of summer.  Ridge vents are definitely the way to go.
Thank you, Tony and crew.  Keep up the good work.  I highly recommend Tony's Roofing Service.
The office staff even helped me get my warranty registered with the Certainteed company after the work had been completed.

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Homeowners in Victoria typically decide on property line verification, fencing materials that resist humidity, and design features like height and gate locations. You’ll also need to coordinate utility marking, discuss boundary fences with neighbors, and plan for drainage around the fence line. Your input is crucial for scheduling installation around Victoria’s weather and approving the final inspection for compliance with local requirements.

Helpful?

Fencing projects in Victoria may impact underground utilities, sprinkler systems, septic tanks, or drainage lines due to the area’s flat terrain and clay soil. Watch for utility markings, damp patches, or unexpected plant growth, which can indicate buried systems. If your fence will be near HVAC units, pool equipment, or your home’s foundation, consult a local fencing expert to avoid disruptions and ensure safe installation.

Helpful?

Your Victoria home is ideal for fencing projects if you have defined property lines, stable clay or loam soil, and accessible space for materials. Check for HOA or zoning rules, and confirm your lot isn’t in a flood-prone area. Flat lots simplify installation, but mature trees or drainage issues may require extra planning. Always factor in local weather and wind conditions to ensure your fence is durable.

Helpful?

To keep fencing projects in Victoria safe for families, choose smooth, splinter-free materials and rounded or capped posts to prevent injuries. Install self-latching gates for pool or yard safety, and ensure gaps are small enough to keep pets secure. Opt for fences at least 4-6 feet high to deter climbing, and consider adding shaded areas for comfort during hot TX summers. Professional installation ensures safety and code compliance.

Helpful?

In Victoria, cosmetic fencing projects emphasize curb appeal, often using decorative materials and custom finishes that complement the area’s traditional and modern homes. Functional fencing projects focus on security, privacy, and weather resistance—using reinforced posts, wind-rated panels, and deeper footings to handle Victoria’s clay soil and frequent storms. Your specific needs will determine the ideal materials, height, and design for your fencing project.
