"Troy and his team removed the uneven and weed stricken back yard, along with miscellaneous trees, plants, etc. They replaced the backyard broken sprinkler system with a drip line, then leveled and re-sodded the backyard. In addition they defined and reworked the front flower bed. They laid a stone walk way from the gate to the patio in the back yard providing an outside area for trash bins vs inside the garage. Due to the drought and Corpus Christi stage 3 water restrictions not all the initial bushes survived, but some have been replaced and are doing well. When a concern it brought up it is address and resolved quickly."

"Roger did a great job on my deck above my boat slip. He even found a problem with the prior work and fixed it. His price is fair and he does quality work. When he installed my boat lift, I could tell it was not his first rodeo. It is hard to find quality craftsman in the coastal. I would hire Roger again."

"Randy was very accommodating and gave a quick response. He was also able to get the job done the next day, and it didn t take long at all! His guys did a great job on the fence and gate. Many other companies didn t want to come out for 11ft of fence, or their estimates were very pricey. Thankful for Randy and his workers help on this project. Would recommend, and would definitely choose Lonestar361 again."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Homeowners in Rockport often use standard materials instead of coastal fencing options, leading to early rust or wind damage. Setting posts too shallow in sandy soil or skipping drainage planning can cause fences to lean or fail. Not checking for underground utilities or starting projects during hurricane season can also create delays and extra work. Careful preparation is key for lasting results.

Helpful?

Your Rockport home is ideal for fencing if the ground is stable and drains well, and if there’s some wind protection from trees or buildings. Homes near the coast or in flood zones may need reinforced posts or marine-grade materials. Check local building codes and HOA guidelines to confirm your property is eligible for fencing before starting your project.

Helpful?

In Rockport’s coastal climate, not rinsing your fence after storms allows salt to corrode metal and wood. Letting debris or soil pile up against posts traps moisture, while skipping yearly inspections means small issues go unnoticed. Avoid using harsh chemicals, and trim back aggressive plants to prevent damage. Promptly repairing minor fence issues helps prevent bigger problems in this harsh environment.

Helpful?

The condition of your Rockport property—such as post-storm repairs, shifting soil, or newly installed utilities—directly impacts fencing choices. Mature trees may block wind but limit fence placement, while updated drainage systems or elevation changes require custom solutions. If your area is still recovering from recent storms, consider reinforced materials and flexible designs to ensure your fence stands up to future coastal weather.

Helpful?

Signs you need fencing work in Rockport include rust from salt air, fence panels leaning after storms, or posts shifting in sandy soil. If you notice standing water near your fence, cracks in your foundation, or damage close to utility lines, address drainage, structural, or utility issues first. Always resolve these underlying problems before starting any coastal fencing repairs.
