"Really really happy with everything about my new fence install with Parker Construction and Fence, LLC. From my 1st meeting with Brian, to follow up and scheduling, to install, I knew I had chosen a company that cared about quality, integrity, and the customer! Their pricing was so competitive from the â Big Guysâ fence companies and I felt good using an established family owned business. My fence is beautiful, excellent quality, and exactly what I wanted. Very pleased to have found Parker fence and would highly recommend them to all!"

"Jose and his Dad are the hardest working men that I have ever seen. They designed and built from the ground up my new custom 2000' long by 5' high pipe fence with no climb horse wire. This fence runs along both sides of my driveway from the road to my house. The upright pipes are 8' apart with pipe top rail. It is curved and the land is partially up-hill in places. They installed 2 new 16' gates, 2 new 12' gates, hung 1 used 16' gate, and built 2 custom gates at the entrance. They tore down old fence and cut brush at the front of my property to build a 4 rail pipe entrance. They painted the entire new installation of the fence and even painted my existing pipe fence at the entrance so everything looks brand new. The most impressive and professional thing I observed during this entire fence job was when Jose's Dad took a grinder and cleaned every inch of the 2000' of pipe so that the pipe would be smooth and clean before they painted the fence. Jose not only gave me an estimate but he went the extra mile to let me know that he really wanted the job. He helped me design this fence from the bottom up and let me make modifications along the way. He helped me locate the best deals on the materials which included 2000' of used pipe, 10 - 200' rolls of no climb horse wire, 7 pallets of concrete, 4 new gates, and 2 horse wire panels for the 2 new pipe custom gates that Jose built from scratch. This is the nicest fence I have ever had and I owe this to Jose and his Dad. They built this fence as if it were their own. They always showed up early and worked steady all day. They were all business - no messing around at all - just good honest hard working men. I am a picky old lady perfectionist when it comes to work being performed on my property, but Jose is such a professional and addressed all of my concerns. They completed this custom fence job to 100% of my satisfaction and approval. I LOVE this fence and it will keep my horses safe for their entire lives. I highly recommend and respect the quality of work and the professional work ethics of J&R Welding!"

"I had a previous fence installed and within a year it had rust everywhere and had to be grinded down and re-done. Rockin M fencing did the same fence in another section and two years later it still looks like it was freshly painted. Can’t recommend Dalton enough. Hard working and cares about his work product."

Professional welder that takes great pride in every weld I make and in everything I repair or build. I physically cannot walk away from my work until it’s 100% complete and up to my standards as well as yours. PERFECT is my standard and nothing less. I just restarted my business after taking some time off to take care of some family matters. All of my work previously was by word of mouth, I never advertised. I did 1 job and I think they bragged to the whole world because I ended up getting more work than I could handle. Every client after did the same. My work always speaks for itself. I promise to always do quality work with my safety as well as yours in mind. I can weld practically every process known to man (TIG, Stick, MIG, Fluxcore, High Frequency TIG, Oxy/Acetylene). I am proficient in all alloys (Carbon, Stainless, Chromoly, Inconel, hastalloy, Aluminum, Titanium, Nickel). Been welding professionally for 28 years. I’m very skilled in X-Ray pipe welding and structures.

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Yes, fence posts need to be installed below the frost line to ensure stability and prevent heaving caused by freezing and thawing cycles. The frost line is the depth at which soil freezes during winter. By placing posts below this line, often around 3 to 4 feet deep or as recommended for your specific region, you reduce the risk of the ground shifting, which can lead to leaning or unstable fences. Adequate depth provides better anchoring and helps maintain the fence's integrity, ensuring it remains secure and upright throughout changing seasons.

The best fence option for you depends on your property, budget, and style preferences, but a corrugated metal fence could be a good option if you want something durable yet low-maintenance. Unlike wood, corrugated metal won’t fall prey to rot or pest damage, and the metal can be recycled after its life as a fence comes to an end.

Most people prefer to keep the fence level by “stepping” the fence when running a horizontal fence over a slope. Stepping involves raising each panel between the posts as the fence moves over changes in slope, giving the fence line the appearance of stair steps. While this may be the preferred method of running a horizontal fence up a slope, there’s nothing wrong with installing your fence so it follows the undulations in the ground instead.

You’ve likely been considering lots of wood fence ideas for your yard. There are many reasons why people choose split rail fences time and again. For one, they’re one of the most wallet-friendly fencing options, especially since you don’t need to use much hardware and setting the posts doesn’t require concrete or foam. So if you have a large property and want to fence it in, your best bet may be a split rail fence.

Most adult chickens can't fit through the large openings in a hog wire fence. However, young chicks or small breeds of chickens could potentially squeeze through a hog wire fence. To prevent this, consider adding extra reinforcements such as chicken wire fencing, mesh, or hardware cloth.
