He asked my husband and I a million personal questions in an attempt to find something we had in common. It was a bit disconcerting. While they did a decent job cleaning I would never hire this company again because of the Extreme sales pitching that was done. Honestly I was just so incredibly happy to have them leave my home. "

I called them to clean the vents which they ended up and not cleaning because they said it was not needed but cut into the brand new system and sprayed it. I did call my HVAC Person and asked if I needed a cleaning or what was the problem. He said absolutely nothing that system is brand new. I called an inspector the inspector verified it. These people wanted to charge him $2500 and they started cutting into the boxes in the attic and I said absolutely not. I will not pay that so they said $800 And I couldn?t stop them because they had already cut into everything and they said ma?am we know what we?re doing after speaking to the HVAC person and the inspector he confirmed that I have been scammed $888.."

"Don't call Top Hat Chimney Sweeps. I had them install a screen over the top of my chimney less than two years ago. Today, I heard some kind of animal in the chimney, so I called them to come back. Their guy was here less than 15 minutes and spent most of that on his phone. He quoted me $315 to fix the screen and add more, but said he didn't have the materials today and would have to come back. I said that was fine. Then he said that the call today, which accomplished nothing, would be $81! He didn't do anything - he didn't even have the ladders he needed to get up there, he just stood on the ground looking up at it the whole time! I said forget it and paid him that and said I'd call someone else. They obviously don't care about their customers or their work. Avoid Top Hat Chimney Sweeps!"
