"Team did not know what they were doing, always confused. Starz overquoted and underperformed. They used nails instead of screws, causing deep holes, missing nails, loose ends, cheap, splintered wood, and deck was 50 inches tall, requested 52. There were various cuts in the wood, wood splitting, a piece of wood loose where they cut the post hole and didn't secure it to the deck. For the pool, they used regular sand, not compaction sand. The bottom of the pool is bumpy. They put the pool coves behind the uprights holding the frame firm. They had to take the pool apart to take out the coves and put back the uprights. The first time they installed the pool, it was 2 inches higher than the deck. They broke down the pool and removed sand on one side to meet up with the deck. The pool is lopsided and water is 6 inches deeper on one side. I had to pay an additional $300 for them to reinstall. The second time they installed the pool, it still did not flush with the deck. I have to redo it all."

"The salesman was extremely difficult, abrupt, and argumentative and I am not sure why we went ahead with the company except that they gave us a reference of a woman near us that had a lot of work done (different salesman too) and her rennovation was beautiful. When we did not have to deal with our salesman, our experience was pleasant. The office was easy to work with, the contractors were on time as promised, professional and neat and excellent craftsmen. "The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"After a notice from our Homeowner Assoc. about our siding, we got 3 estimates for replacement. Kevin at Pay-Less came out, showed us the products they use, explained the process and gave us a written estimate. This estimate was thousands less than the other 2 which made us nervous. After checking other reviews we decided to go with their bid and are very happy we did. Simply put, they did everything they said they would. A team of up to 8 were working on the house for a week, cleaning up as they went along. If there was any questions (I had asked for some cosmetic additions) the crew chief would check with me before proceeding.The only dispute concerned the type of primer ( I had requested Sherwin Williams) and they were using a generic brand. I asked the crew chief about it, he called the office and they went right down to the Sherwin Williams store for more primer no questions asked. I have been asked by many in my neighborhood who did my house and I have no problem recommending Pay-Less Siding.
